PERSONAL POST COMING RIGHT UP 🙋🏼‍♀️ I've been tossing up whether to share this personal journey but here goes! 1 year ago I had an MRI on my brain after going to see my GP for a few odd things happening. In this process there was a finding that I had an enlarged pineal gland. I was sent to see a brain surgeon, he ran through some possibilities and sent me to have another MRI in 6 months time to check for changes and growth. The next scan was more detailed than the first with contrast and had shown I had a growth within my pineal gland that had abnormalities within it. At this stage I was told that a brain tumour could not be ruled out because of what the inside of the growth looked like. I had to then wait another 6 long months to have my next MRI to see how it was looking. The waiting times were very difficult times for me. The past 12 months since finding out, I got myself in to a very bad frame of mind and way of thinking. My normally bubbly self turned in to an anxious person and I was terrified I was going to die. The days that my kiddies weren't at daycare, I struggled to find the motivation to work because I wanted to give my time to them because I didn't know how much longer I had left with my babies and I would just look at their perfect little faces or watch special little moments and just cry on what I would miss out on and how they would grow up without me. It was a very dark place to be. BUT, I've since been for my next 6 month scan and it's still there but there haven't been any internal changes or growth in 12 months which makes my specialist happy enough to say that he now believes it is benign and push my scans out to 12 month checks. YAY!!!!!! I've really let this effect my day to day life, relationships and my business which upsets me even more that I let my headspace get to this point. I'm currently in Bali having some R&R and will be back in a few days to tackle the job of getting myself and my business back on track and I really look forward to making 2020 a happier and healthier year and making all the ideas I have for my business come to life. Beyond grateful for the insane amount of Santa Sack orders placed over the past 2 days since @misskyreeloves showed off her personalised Santa sacks that she ordered 😍🎄🎅🏻🎁 These had sold out on the very first night and I’ve managed to get my hands on a few more but stock is EXTREMELY limited with only a handful left, I expecting to sell out again by this afternoon. Be quick Christmas lovers 🥰 . #misskyreeloves #christmastree #santasacks #personalisedsantasacks #customchristmas #rosegoldchristmas #balsamhill #itsthemostwonderfultimeoftheyear #glisteningoccasions
