Hi! @jasmineeskye here. I know it’s been a while but I couldn’t not say anything this week with this platform just sitting here. The anger coming out of America isn’t a surprise and it’s ignorant to think that by living in Australia we’re exempt from benefiting from the racist, capitalist structure we all exist in. . To share the knowledge that has been on social media over the past few days, I’ve curated a list of resources including podcasts, books, and Instagram accounts to learn more about race and white privilege in Australia, the UK and America. It’s up on @genzine if you want a place to start. It’ll continue to be updated as I learn more myself. ❤️ (image via @futurafreedesign)

Let’s be real for a second. This site is single-handedly run by a 22 year old Gemini who’s currently travelling/ trying to freelance/ studying abroad and just living life. Sorry for the sporadic posting - I’m still here. 👋 Building more personal editorial content over on @jasmineeskye if you want a read. Don’t forget submissions are always open if you want a platform to share your art. That’s what genzine always has and always will be for. ✍️

“I think that our generation is generally more pushed by the passion in their heart rather than the security of a degree, so hobbies like film photography can inspire a potential artistic career.” New interview with @sophiehur about her change of careers, dreams for the future and how she got into photography is live on genzine.com now! 🖥🙌 Image by @emmacraft 📸
