Such a tough time for this industry. Aside from a few standby days ahead of me, I’ve maybe done my last flight as a cabin crew ... 3 companies and many thousand passengers later 😍 There has been so many laughter and cries. So many days wondering what I’m doing with my life and others being so grateful for my job. It’s a crazy world out there and as a cabin crew you really get to see some of the best and the worst. I really hope this industry recovers well and I’m looking forward to one day working alongside the amazing crew out there but from the other side of the door 👩🏽✈️💙✨ #crewlife #cabincrew #flightattendant #airlinecrew
Trying to live our best lives while in this chaos. Both me and him in one of the industries that have been hit worst by this shit. I was so excited to finish pilot training and now getting a job feels further away than ever 😔. But it still doesn’t feel impossible, and we’re out here keeping our hopes up and trying to live as normally as possible ✨ Taking the time to be out in nature and support our local community with some food Swedish fika 😋 (and yes here in Sweden we are not doing the whole social distancing thing, you’re only supposed to stay inside if you’re either sick or in a risk group) #livetpåenpinne #coronacrew
#coronacrew on layover in a country on lockdown. Took a few restaurants but managed to find really fucking good pizza! ✨ Tomorrow I’m flying with no passengers to Spain, and then flying home with a few Swedes who decided to go home. Considering Spain is going on lockdown too I have a feeling the flight with go quickly from not booked at all to fully booked 😅 Ohwell. #crewlife at its best huh? In times like these, I’m really thrilled to be a person who gives few fucks about jack shit. You have your heart attacks, I have my beer 😋
Swipe to see the evolution of the day of a flight attendant and see under eye bags evolving. A typical day for me starts at 5:30am. My ring of doom goes off. My first thought is: fuck, it’s so many hours until I’m finally here again. • At 6:30 I leave for work, to check in at 7:30 - takeoff 8:40. But things always happen, today the passenger numbers didn’t match and we didn’t have any hand disinfectant on board... so 30 minute delay. • Finally. We’re on our way. Just a really short 4 hours and 50 minutes flight. When you land you’ve done a full “normal” working day. Then you just need to mentally prepare to go all the way back... todays flight time “home” (to Denmark, not home) was 5:20 minutes. Of course a minor 30 minute delay out of Egypt because of Egyptian paperwork. So takeoff at 16, back “home” at 21.30. • I’m writing this from the toilet in my hotel room where I just arrived where it’s 22:25. So my normal working day was just under 17 hours ☀️✨🥰 • For lunch I had white rice with sausage, and ate next to the toilet accompanied by the smell of diarrhea 💪🏽 And somehow, swipe to second picture and understand why I still love it 😋❤️☀️ #crewlife #cabincrew #coronacrew 😷
Finally some ☀️!✨ I’m so grateful that summer is slowly, slowly arriving. This winter has been so rough, and I’m beyond done being a student (no traveling budget 🤷🏽♀️). I’ve had the laziest winter, I feel like I’m living in the body of a 100 year old, I’m constantly in pain and sleepy 🤪 Can’t tell you how ready I am to move into summer! Finally become a commercial pilot, start working at the office again because my poor back can’t handle being a cabin crew anymore 😂. And just finally be able to go on hikes without heavy clothes. Such good times coming, I can feel it 💪🏽
Filterless evening over Stockholm Arlanda ✨🤍 Starting this week out with a quick and easy Funchal turnaround. Did you know Funchal is considered one of the hardest airports to land on? Because of its location next to the mountains and along the sea there is usually a lot of turbulence and tendencies to wind shear close to the runway so pilots have to go through extra training to land there. In our airline only the captains do this extra training and only the captain is allowed to land there. Last time I was there was definitely a bumpy ride the last minute 🤪 And spring is getting closer and closer meaning I’m almost done with this season as a cabin crew. Hopefully it’s my last season and with some hard work and luck on my side I will hopefully be on the other side of that door by the end of 2020 😁 .. Pilot training slowly coming to an end 😍
Welcome to my second home lately 💁🏽♀️... The Alsim! She looks just like the real deal, just way less fun and harder to land 😂 Right now I’m doing the instrument program, so I have done a bit over 5 hours in this cave and looking forward to 30 more before I’m returning to flying real planes. Today I spent the day doing my first NDB holdings and they were on point 👌🏽 And did my first full procedure ILS (Yes I’ve flown over 100 hours and never did a full ILS 😂). Flying instrument is so much fun, can’t want to do some Instrument navs 😍! #studentpilot #da42 #flightsim #futurepilot
Everyday I have to pinch myself ✨ So blessed to be with someone so silly, charming, helpful and kind ❤️ Love isn’t even big enough of a word 😪 @cjineman 🌻❤️✨🤩
Ended up having a pretty fucking decent week after all 🤘🏽 Last week, _every_ single flight lesson got cancelled because of weather 😢... so actually got to skip to start with the basic IFR module which means I did my first hour in the sim! Flying IFR is fun 🤩!!!!! And then my birthday surprise from @cjineman which involved good drinks, best sushi EVER at @minakosushi (go there and have omakase if you’re a fish lover!!!) and lastly a good laugh at a stand up show 🥰 Now back to work and reality 💁🏽♀️ Doing the laziest 5 days ever... I have 5 days duty but actually only fly 2 active legs 🤪🤷🏽♀️
It’s Sunday, and on this weeks agenda is finishing the multi-engine program! 🙌🏽 The multi engine program is short, fun and tough. At my school we do it divided into 4 lessons. The first lesson is spent getting to know the plane, you do slow flight, steep turns, stalls, some basic engine failure procedures and a landing or two. My second lesson was spent digging deeper into emergency procedures, how the plane behaves flying on one engine and practicing some windy approaches! This week it’s time for the last two, tomorrow we’ll spend most of the day doing abnormal procedures such as instrument failure, electrical failures, fire drills and of course more single engine flying 🤩 It’s super intense - but also super fun! #studentpilot #da42 #diamondsareagirlsbestfriend
Just completed my first multi-engine flight and I feel like I did my first solo - I can’t really mentally land 😂 I’m so high on life right now! It makes sense to say: diamonds are a girls best friend 🌟 #da42 #diamond #studentpilot
Lucky me. Lucky with a sunny layover, lucky with a nice crew. Lucky with life right now 🌟 And soon time to go home and start my instrument rating! I guess you can tell by that smile I feel so blessed and excited 🙌🏽 #cabincrew #layover #fuerteventura #flightattendant #crewlife #cabinlife
