Habits and cycles of behaviour are a THING!! We know this!! We often times forget that habits aren’t just things like, bitting your nails, late night snacking or cracking your knuckles... Our thoughts can also become habitual. This can be problematic when these habits keep us from stepping into our own power. Can you relate? I certainly can... Let’s break this down... Everybody loops. Everyone thinks in loops. You are not above this human phenomenon... this is how our brain works. It’s not a flaw. Our thoughts can become so automated that we aren’t even aware we are stuck in a limiting loop or habit of thinking. Especially reflecting that we will never be able to heal our bodies, or we aren’t worthy of love, or that it’s better to elevate others for their achievements, but not the same for ourselves. The loop looks like doing the same thing over and over. We experience these loops predominantly within diets, relationships, jobs, friendships, and fitness. The loop begins at the surface level, but then digs down into an old wound that has become a deep seeded belief. Healing begins with breaking free of this limiting loop. It is exercising your awareness practice to observe yourself without judgement. We all experience resistance, lack and negative vibration in different ways. And I am here to tell you that you can heal that feeling of unrest, unworthiness and dis-ease within you. It’s takes a willingness to look at your habits and patterns from a different perspective. It’s a great day to be alive. I love this saying. It brings me back into the moment and helps we to realize and experience the gifts each day brings. I want you to have the courage to face your inner critic and show her who’s boss. It’s time to settle the real score, redesign your beliefs and acknowledge your own worth, beauty and power! Can you imagine looking in the mirror and seeing a beautiful, intelligent and worthy individual 𝑬𝑽𝑬𝑹𝒀 𝑺𝑰𝑵𝑮𝑳𝑬 𝑫𝑨𝒀? Can you imagine how powerful it would feel to silence the voice of judgement and accept yourself with love, compassion and respect everyday? A friend asked me to write about "𝒘𝒉𝒚 𝒘𝒆 𝒋𝒖𝒅𝒈𝒆 𝒐𝒖𝒓𝒔𝒆𝒍𝒗𝒆𝒔 𝒂𝒏𝒅 𝒐𝒕𝒉𝒆𝒓𝒔 𝒔𝒐 𝒐𝒇𝒕𝒆𝒏", so Let me break this down... The Judge... Yes I'm talking about that voice in your head that judges everything all the time. You know, that voice in your mind that you call your "opinion"? 𝒀𝒖𝒑! That's it, that's the judge, and for the most part, the judge is banking in overtime hours. It's important to understand that when people judge, it is based on how they were raised, their believe systems and life circumstances. All opinions are little agreements a person has made overtime through their personal conditioning. In other words, it comes from our domestication of what’s good/bad, right/wrong, beautiful/ugly etc... 100% of the time, a judgement is a projection of how someone feels about themselves and what they THINK they know... This means that if you feel judged by someone, it’s important to recognize this and separate YOUR truth from theirs. It has nothing to do with you. It's about them. Get it? Because... Judgements hurt don’t they? So, how do we change this? The answer: 𝑶𝒖𝒓 𝒂𝒘𝒂𝒓𝒆𝒏𝒆𝒔𝒔 𝒑𝒓𝒂𝒄𝒕𝒊𝒄𝒆. Since I began to practice awareness I have: •Divorced my abusive ex-husband •Lost 85lbs in a healthy and sustainable way. •Started my own business with confidence. •Created a fulfilling lifestyle. •And, have deep connections to family and friends. Plus, I get to wake up every single day feeling love, respect and worthy of it all. And I want this for you too! Why? So here’s the thing… I am a firm believer that there is a life lesson in all things. Sometimes these lessons are tricky and they present themselves in ways we cannot always recognize. They are usually in the form of open wounds (or fears) within us that need healing, acceptance and most of all LOVE. Every choice we make, action we take, emotion we feel, our thought process and how we THINK is a "learned" behaviour. Consequently it can be "unlearned", shifted or changed based on our awareness. But how the hell do we recognize these wounds and the lessons we need to learn in the first place? Great question Elisa! Well, here's what I've learned... When we find ourselves in NEW situations or experiences, when we face adversity and hardships, or when we wear the hat of the victim/judger, all of our beliefs about ourselves that require healing come flooding to the surface (I’m not good enough, smart enough, pretty enough, etc.). If you don’t take a minute to take a BREATH, to take a PAUSE, then you will do what you’ve ALWAYS DONE!! Your old patterns will take over, and eventually the same outcome is inevitable. To actually learn from what life is presenting to you, and begin to heal and fill your own cup, you need to ground yourself so that you can pause and say, “Hmm… this may look different, but is it? Why I am bringing all of my old shit into it?" With this awareness you can change directions. Get it? We are always moving quickly from one thing to the next "thinking” we’ve learned, but really have never taken the time to change our beliefs. Then, all of a sudden, the lesson is waving directly in front of our face and we can't even see it! Just remember that no matter what belief within you is being tested, if you are willing and open to see it, if you are willing to pause, you will shift. Learning is breaking the old patterns, and healing the wounds within us! #ElisaUnfiltered #AwarenessCoach #mindsetcoach

A note to the feminine, all women, and people who identify as women: She is feared because she has risen above the system that keeps her small, self conscious, always questioning and doubting her power. So here’s the thing about that... When you realize the subtlety, it becomes clear that people like those who follow the rules set out by culture. We have been conditioned, and our beliefs on “the way life is” and “our roles within it” are rooted deeply. Most of the time we don’t even realize we are constantly following the rules UNTIL they are being challenged. When our rules are challenged, we are forced to take responsibility for ourselves. We are forced to stand in the responsibility of the code WE have agreed to live by (whether we like the code or not) People don’t like to take responsibility for themselves. They like to be defined by labels, put into boxes and loop in the same patterns of behaviours over and over because this is what they know. Now, there is no shame in that. And if you do hold shame because you know you are choosing to stay stuck in a cycle that is no longer serving you, then you can call this healthy shame. Your shame will either guide you to your knowing, or it won’t. There is a North Star in there somewhere. Taking responsibility for ourselves requires an “unknowing”. It’s scary to break free from our conditioning and step into our power because then we become responsible. We can’t fall back on the rules that someone else made for us. We know this. And that is why those of us who break free are feared. So how free do you want to be? Remember: There is always a choice. When we are deep in the system it’s almost impossible to see that we are choosing. Bring your attention to the parts of you that are resisting change and observe this with none judgmental observation. This is how you will be able to ALLOW yourself the freedom to choose a path that will serve you to your highest good. #ElisaUnfiltered
