“I give thanks to the Father for the creation of this beautiful Spirit...” Beautiful afternoon connecting to my higher self through my sacred Cacao. 🌱 . If you’re reading this I wish you nothing but LOVE, PEACE, and Happiness! 💕
Isn’t it crazy how God will give you signs of what’s to come in your future? Here I am (not so) randomly pointing to a computer which eventually would become the tool that would bring abundance into my life. (The computer never worked 😂) This photo reminds me of how ABSOLUTELY proud I am of where I came from and where I started! Literally everything in this picture is second hand or from the trash, but it didn’t matter. And it also reminds me to pay more attention to all of the signs that Spirit gives us on a daily basis which will guide us through our true purpose in life. ✨🌱 The Pom poms in the back also have a story. I was 12 years old here and I desperately wanted to be a cheerleader to be cool📣, but my parents couldn’t afford to buy me the uniform in junior high school or to pick me up from practice so my dad enrolled me in a cheerleading class at the Boys and Girls Club, one day a week at 6 pm. It was basically the Glee club of cheerleading. I was in a squad with 5 year olds 😭😂 BUT I WAS SO PROUD!!! And we performed a dance to the Fresh Prince of Bel Air (which I have on tape and I still know the moves) And let’s talk about the incomplete carpet tile?! How many of your parents would hit up the trash can of rug places or the thrift stores to furnish your home?
This year has been drastically life changing for all of us. One of the reason I am grateful for the abundance of time this pandemic has allowed me has been that I have had a lot of time for introspective, personal development inner work. I’ve learned a lot of lessons this year, but the one that’s stick out the most is this one: Do not give advice in hopes of encouraging people to change, unless it’s asked for. A lot of times we invest so much energy into helping people, but you can’t help anyone who doesn’t want to change. And most importantly love and accept them for who they are, regardless. What is one major life lesson that you've learned this year?
October is National Bullying Awareness Month and we’re partnering with @Google’s #BeInternetAwesome program to inspire you to remember that #ItsCoolToBeKind, especially online! I looked to their Family Guide (which is available in English and Spanish) to help me navigate sitting down and creating this paper chain which not only gave me another opportunity to spend quality time with my son, but it was also a fun way kick off a conversation around the importance of kindness, what kindness looks like, and how we all can continue to be kind not only to ourselves to others both online and in real life. I’m sharing more in my stories along with a link to the Family Guide I mentioned and Google’s interactive game, Interland, that puts action to the words we spoke about (Izek loved Interland since he loves video games) Have you talked to your kids about kindness online yet? If so, comment, one thing that surprised you the most during your conversation down below! #sponsored

It’s so important for us to have the right mindset if we want to succeed in any area of our life. Let’s kick off Monday with a great mental attitude and positive affirmations. You got this, girl! ✨🌺 What is your go-to affirmation?
Today’s message: Words are powerful. Be aware of how people can arrange and use words to fool you. Notice when your own words are out of alignment. Words describe life, but we are the will power behind them. 🌱✨🌾

Now more than ever we’ve been reminded of the importance of supporting our communities! I am so excited to be working with @StateFarm and commend them for empowering their agents to help their local communities. It inspired me to put together a few pet essentials to donate to my local animal shelter. Not only does giving back feel great but you’re also able to gain a sense of appreciation for the simple blessings we may often overlook. I really want to encourage you to join me and share how you are being a good neighbor. Leave a comment down below sharing how you actively are or how you plan to lend a hand in your community during this time! #goodneighbor #ad
