A queer-owned neon sign company that *finally* has inclusive signage for lovers in the LGBTQ+ community ✨ Let us introduce you to @withpride.events [they run in both Australia & the US]. You'll find With Pride Events over in our online directory of inclusive wedding pros - we'll pop the link in our bio for you ♥️ What is our online directory - you might be asking yourself? It's a space where we bring you some of the best wedding pros from around Australia and the US. Wedding vendors who celebrate love in the same way that we do - inclusively. I know when we [Arlia & Tara] first started our own wedding planning journey, we felt so uncomfortable asking wedding pros if it 'was okay' to work with us as a same-sex couple - and the fear of rejection or discrimination was awful. We *strongly* don't feel like that is something anyone should have to experience - ever, period. So, if you're planning a wedding, jump online & check out our wedding pros - they're all incredible humans ✨
Pettina & Melissa 🌹 26 years ago, despite suggestions, assurances, that Australia would see sense and change the marriage law, Pettina and Melissa couldn't wait, and they had their wedding. Legal paperwork aside, these two lovers wanted to start their lives as wives. It'd be a long wait for that marriage law to change. Last year, with their beautiful daughter beside them, they finally got to sign that paperwork and make things "official-official" [pass the tissues, it's emotional] ❤️ Their story is just a little reminder of both the (ongoing) longevity of the fight towards equal rights, and just how incredibly powerful love can be. Captured by Dancing With Her Partner @lightsmithimages - who you'll find over in our online directory of inclusive wedding pros from around the world ❤️ [it's a group of wedding pros who support our work, sure, but also support and celebrate love inclusivity ✨]
BLOG // Emily and Nadia’s relationship hasn’t come easily. Before a proposal, it’s mostly been a rollercoaster of toxic relationships, closets and living in fear of rejection of both family and the church. You see, Nadia is Persian, and being LGBTQ+ isn't typically accepted. And Emily, she was heavily involved in her childhood church and only felt comfortable coming out to a handful of people. However, their love is meant to be. They'd remind one another “You are worth it, and I would choose you a million times.” Eventually they'd find an affirming church, and create a beautiful life together. Emily planned a perfect proposal, and has the photographs to prove it. We've just blogged the perfect proposal [and the epic love story] - we'll pop the link up in the bio for y'all ☺️ Captured by @acbackusphotography

Well sheesh....does this proposal even need a caption? 😍 We do love a 'styled shoot turned proposal' ...a lot! Captured by @honeybeeweddingsmt
These colours 🥰 oh, and Kellie's perfectly matched @shane.ave suit to Anna's ridiculously stunner of a dress! You'll find Shane Ave over in our online directory of inclusive wedding vendors from around the world. They're not just a wonderful queer-led suiting company, they are wonderful humans who work so hard to make our LGBTQ+ Community feel welcomed, comfortable and celebrated when it comes to finding the perfect wedding outfit ❤️ we couldn't recommend them any more! Check out the directory over on our *brand new* website! ✨ Photographer @storiesbyash Suit @shane.ave
If you've not already discovered the magic of @chuyphoto, it's time 🥰 Love is a freakin' magical thing, and Chuy just has a way of capturing all the energy so darn authentically ❤️
BLOG // Kiki & Marianna had a big wedding planned [and Kiki’s family from the UK booked on flights to Toronto to spend a week celebrating their marriage]. But, COVID put a stop to all their plans - 2020 problems, huh?! Their desire to marry legally, regardless of what the ‘not-wedding’ wedding day looked like was strong. And so, they did just that ♥️ They frolicked in the park with a photographer in toe after doing the legal bits, and celebrated their union -just the two of them. We've got their #covidelopement & love tale up, over on the blog for you! We'll pop that link up in that bio of ours for you 👆 Photography by @max.visualss
BLOG // These two brides have a mutual love of craft beer, so it was fitting that they would choose to marry amongst the beer vats at their local watering hole [aka brewery - we aren't sure if that slang translates around the world!] 🍻 ...and yes, they did serve beer-battered waffles at the reception - why not! We've just popped Amy & Daneen's stunner of a wedding up, over on the blog. We'll leave the link in the usual spot for y'all 👆 Captured by @studiobaze
Have you snatched up your copy of our latest magazine? ✨ Fun fact: this beauty was put together during a tough time - between the *epic* morning [they should call it all-day] sickness [we're just a team of two lovers, so that's like half our staff being down and out!] & all the not-so-fun things that came along with the global pandemic [print delays, dramatically reduced revenue, postage delays, etc.] it took a little longer than expected...but was totally worth the wait! You can get your copy over on the website - we'll leave the link up in the usual spot for you. We ship across the world, or you can get a digital copy delivered right to your inbox - the choice is yours ❤️ Captured by @tahneejadephoto
BLOG // Emily slid into Imogen’s Instagram DM’s, and it’s been a whirlwind romance ever since 🌹 Through the obstacles of a long-distance romance, they’ve overcome everything for their love to prevail ♥️ Imogen asked Emily to marry her on Christmas morning, surrounded by Emily’s family & it was ridiculously adorable - we've got the whole tale up over on the blog. You know where to find the link, lovers 👆 Captured by @madetobemine
