I’m excited to try out some of this chunky Sugar Bush yarn from @yarnspirations this week! I only have enough to make some cowls I think, so I’ve been experimenting to see which stitches look best with a chunkier yarn. This stitch is back loop only half double crochet slip stitch (YO, insert hook into back loop and pull up a loop, pull directly through 2 loops on hook). Swipe over for a quick video of the stitch! 💕Hannnah

New pattern! ✨ These velvet cowls are sooo soft and cozy I kind of want to keep them all for myself 😊. I wanted them to be nice and warm, but not too bulky, so I made it double sided by crocheting a big rectangle and folding it in half and combining the ends, then folding it in half again and sewing the sides together. Swipe over for a glimpse of the process, a quick video of the wide double crochet stitch and a pic of me wearing my cowl 😊. . Full free pattern is on daisyfarmcrafts.com! Happy Friday! 💕Hannah

Hey there, it’s Hannah, I have a lot of leftover colors of Bernat Baby Velvet from all the hats and scarves I’ve been making so I decided to use some of these fun jewel tones to make a new baby blanket 😊. With velvet we like to use the wide half double crochet stitch where you insert your hook in between the HDCs of the row below because the velvet can make it hard to see the tops of stitches. Swipe over if you’d like to see a video of how I’m changing colors! 💕Hannah
More velvet twist headband patterns are coming soon 😍 Made with Bernat Baby Velvet Stitch: front and back post DC worked as a mini basket weave. Hook: Size 5mm H Model: Annie 😘 @anniebrowngolf
We are starting to have a little collection of hot pad patterns on our site. Hannah made these and they are a perfect way to practice or learn how to carry yarn through the row to achieve our favorite gingham look. .. Annie has been busy baking @daisyfarmkitchen and sharing family recipes and now she also wants to make a few hot pads herself. I told her that would be a cute gift idea to go along with one of her cakes or cookies for her friends. .. You can look under our Reels for a video showing how to change colors for this hot pad. .. Happy Sunday! ❤️❤️
