NEW vid ALERT .... 1 month of hair prep in less than an hour. These recipes did not come to play they came to get you on that Rapunzel game QUICK.⠀ Tell your hair I said your welcome haha. ⠀ ⠀ Wanna learn how to make an ayurvedic cowash that bubbles up, cleanses and strengthens, plus a rinse, fenugreek oil and butter.... Link in da BIO... playa! ⠀ ⠀ PS Low key can't get over how tired I look in this pic. Note to self ... Make up is no substitute for sleep. ⠀ ⠀
Who is hyped for the new rice water and fenugreek challenge? Ummmm I am. It starts on the 19th October if you wanna join. Watch my new video for details. I am opting for black rice. If rice water does not work for you you can feel free to use a tea such as green tea infused with essential oils like rosemary and lavender proven to increase hair growth rate and density even in alopecia and chemotherapy patients. ⠀ ⠀ Bookmark this post and comment below what you will be using for the hair growth challenge. ⠀ ⠀
This morning the first thoughts in my spirit when I woke up were ..... Not the Universe but it's creator, the one who threw the stars into their constellation, who stores the snow in the clouds, you know the Matchless Creator who sustains life he wants to meet with you on the daily but your too busy today right? You wanna spend another 4 hours on screen time today while saying you can't find the time to be in his presence, ok. Ouch... Truth has no filter eek
Ok guys sooo I think a new official hair growth challenge is indeed needed. What do you think? If you are like YAAAAASSS ....What challenge would you like to do? Rice Water, Henna, Fenugreek, Chebe? Or Back to back with all the above so you can dedicate time to finding what works for you?⠀ P.S Asked you all on my stories which pic I should use for my cover pic today. You all were as undecided as I was. Haha. 1 2 or 3 which would you have chosen!
Currently being schooled about the importance of listening to intuition.... It never ever lies. I am learning to stop making excuses for red flags and people's misbehaviour. If something does not feel right it isn't ... Listen to their actions not their words. They say they can, they say they will but you know their character shows no evidence that you can rely on. When you ignore your intuition ... you are actually lying to yourself and convincing yourself you are wrong when you know you are right .... Don't do it sis. Take it from me.... ignoring my intuition nearly cost me massively this week.... Maybe one day I can share more ... but I know someone needed to hear this today. P.s don’t know why I am mean mugging
I LOVE THIS GIRL! She always looks for the silver lining in everyday mishaps and situations. Jaiyah went back to school this week and I tried to prepare her for all the changes in interaction that she can expect upon returning. "Jaiyah your teachers might be wearing masks. Children will be at individual tables, things will generally be different." I was expecting her to be bummed things were not going to be quite back to normal. She replied, "That's great mum. It will really give me time and space to focus more. Remember that was one of my targets from last year? It's gonna be a great year."⠀ ⠀ She had me welling up ya'll. My actual sunshine .... Swipe to see her on her first day of school. Reception v year 2. You are still as curious as ever ... never change baby girl.
Hats off to all the mums who have been sowing into their babies a love for their heritage. I must admit I have learnt so much as I started a purposeful journey back in June to explore Africa with my children. We have been looking at the countries what they trade, their resources, clothing , wildlife and majestic monuments and landscapes as well as artifacts, particularly with Jaiyah. We explored the majesty of this great continent that they will likely never learn at school. But we are taking back the narrative and not waiting on schools and mainstream media. ⠀ ⠀ Oh yeah n 438 photos later they both looked at the camera at the same time haha. ⠀📸 @whereischika will vouch for how true this is.
2020 has been a lot.... it was a massive blow this morning to hear of the tragic loss of @chadwickboseman ... whilst I was deeply saddened to hear of his passing .... this was eclipsed by the example he set. How he fought through chemotherapy and surgeries and completed several films including black panther, he visited children in hospitals and hospices and lent his voice to the fight for his people. What an unmatched spirit with the lessons he taught in his silent example and diligence against the odds. In a situation where he would have been within his rights to rest and give up he shone till the very end. I am gonna focus on the silver linings and the reminder that life is a vapour ... so love like tomorrow is not promised, because it isn’t. #wakandaforever✊🏾 #wakanda

Here is a quick hack for anyone who wants to incorporate all the strength and goodness of ayurveda with minimal effort and mess. Make your own DIY Ayurvedic shampoo. Pick herb or two and throw a tsp of each and feel the restoration from your first application. Henna, neem, amla, fenugreek which would you go for? Swipe for to see the mix and progress.
