No idea if I’m capable of this.. but my good fellow Hull mate @charlottejanemusic has asked me to join her to raise money to complete the ‘3 Peak Challenge’ 👀🧗🏻 On the 24th October, I am joining Charlotte and her friends and family to walk the three peaks for @echoukcharity, a charity that supports young children and their families with heart conditions, a charity very close to her and her family. We’ve set a target of £800 so if you want to help us, any donation would be hugely grateful. Link in my stories now! Wish us luck... ⛰⛰⛰

Thank you everyone for the birthday messages, so much love!! Cheers! ♥️🥃

Pre/During/Post Lockdown progress pictures 💪🏼 Coincidentally, today is #NationalFitnessDay and is also 6 months to the day since the first lockdown in the UK began so it felt appropriate to post about how fitness has helped me.. I’ll be honest, at the start of lockdown I struggled to stay motivated, like most of us did. That first week I literally sat playing Call Of Duty, eating pizza and drinking wine..don’t get me wrong, amazing for a couple of days but the novelty wore off quick! As lockdown continued and as I was isolating alone, my mental health started to deteriorate. I was demotivating myself, making myself feel guilty, useless, worthless. I was aware that I was doing this to myself, listening to the doubt whispering bullsh*t in my ear so I got up, got my trainers on and ran. The feel good was instant but I knew for consistent mental health improvement, I would need to be consistent in physical health too. I pushed myself as hard as I could, logging my rep counts, noting my running time and distance, pushing to PB each workout but even then it still felt like I wasn’t making progress.. I was doing this all under the incredible support of my trainer Aaron at @uflexx_health who told me to take pictures to visibly see the effects of my hard work.. So there they are. I’m not at my target, I have more work to do, but I’m happy with my progress, especially during a time when all I wanted to do was watch Netflix and eat biscuits. ✌🏼 The take away from this isn’t to be like ‘oh look at me and how well I’ve done’ - it’s to remind you that we all feel sh*t sometimes, we all want to sit down and do nothing sometimes, we all get demotivated BUT if you make a start with exercise, work hard within your limitations, stay committed to achievable goals and aim for more, you can achieve MUCH more than you imagined. X

HUGE THANK YOU to everyone for their time and donations this week. It has been an incredibly special and important week, raising over £1200 for @mindcharity and raising awareness to a topic so close to my heart. Could not have done it without you lot - love you guys. X Massive thanks also to @drranj @uflexx_health @aykeys @reelrecordingstudio

TOMORROW I’m chatting live to my personal trainer and physical therapist, Aaron Hedgecock from @uflexx_health to talk about physical and mental health. If you wanna join us, bring your questions to my Facebook Live at 2pm BST - see you there! 💪🏼 x
