Well, ladies and gents. If you swipe left, you will see some photos of the latest project I have made: an English inspired briefcase, which has taken forever to make... unfortunately this is also the last project I will ever make. You see, Bruhn Design has come to an end, I am afraid. I have been thinking of shutting down this little business for a while, but now is the time to take the big step. I have decided to spend more time with friends and family and to devote my creativity somewhere else. If everything goes as planned, then architecture 🤞🏼 I will no longer take orders and I will probably not post any more photos, but I will still do some leather crafting every once in a while, just for the fun of it. Currently working on a new bag for myself. I mainly throw myself into projects like these to test new methods to construct a bag. This will become either a messenger bag or a briefcase - depends on where I can challenge myself the most. All I have for now is the handle and the shoulder strap. First try on making a moulded briefcase handle. Not easy punching your way through 5 layers of leather. And boy it’s a time consumer! Probably around 5 hours on just this one. No wonder handmade stuff is pricy 😉 #bruhndesign
