🍑🏆My TOP 11 booty building tips! @FITQUEEN_ARMY I wish I could time travel 🚀 back in 2013 when I started my fitness journey and tell myself everything I know now 🙊 I would save myself a butt load of time & headaches 🤯 1️⃣LAY OFF THE CARDIO! - I know I sound like a broken record 💿 but I’ll just keep repeating myself until everyone gets it. In order to build MUSCLE you MUST prioritize WEIGHT training. Excessive cardio will NOT build your butt, it will actually make it SMALLER! -> 🥞 2️⃣ IF YOU AREN'T FEELING THEM, YOU AREN’T GROWING THEM yes I know that everyone heard about ‘glute activation’, yet most of you ladies still aren’t doing it. (especially my beginner girls) Its SO important to activate your glutes before all your lower body workouts. (all you need is a 5-10 minutes warm up/ band work) 3️⃣ RECOVERY I know y’all just wanna train glutes all day everyday,BUT you CANT do that. You need at least 1-2 days rest in between. It will vary depending on your training volume, style, genetics etc! My next challenge (starts OCTOBER 26th ) includes TONS of BOOTY werkkk, even more than usual!(we will be hitting glutes 3x per week) ⏪SWIPE to see the new workout split 🤩 4️⃣ HAVE A PLAN If your goal is to build your glutes, one “leg day” / week with your boyfriend isn’t going to cut it.😏You need to strategically hit them 2-3x per week. Which is why is important to have a well structured plan. 5️⃣PROGRESSIVE OVERLOAD You have to make sure you are constantly challenging yourself by increasing the weight, playing with the tempo (pause, pulse, isohold, 1 1/4 reps etc) you will experience a lot of these techniques in my next ‘WARRIOR #FitQueenchallenge”. 6️⃣YOU MUST ⛽️ YOUR 🍑 You might be training hard AF, BUT if your diet is poor then your booty gains will be poor too! Just think about having a nice car, without fuel it won’t go anywhere. Same goes for the booty, you HAVE TO EAT enough to make it GROW! 7️⃣ MASTER BODYWEIGHT MOVEMENTS FIRST ahhh, this is SO important!! I wish I did this myself😫 Get the basics right FIRST.
