That moment when a slackliner sneaks into your engagement shoot. Swipe to see the fall. 🧗♂️ Photos by @savannahrae.photo
In Yosemite we chase waterfalls and shadows. One of the great things about Yosemite is the changing illuminations that add diversity to the same spot throughout the day.
I will follow you anywhere....except any closer to the edge of this cliff! Such an amazing adventure session with 📸@savannahrae.photo !
We are absolutely blown away by the beautiful engagement photos @savannahrae.photo took of us! Neither one of us is very comfortable being in front of the camera but Savannah made it feel easy.
The green is fading from the valley and being replaced by yellows, oranges and browns. Soon that will be replaced by blankets of white snow. I love these transitional seasons when the valley is changing daily and making preparations for the upcoming winter or summer season.
Early mornings in the valley are our favorite! We love being able to watch the sunrise and light up the valley walls all while most people are still asleep.
Fall camping is amazing! The temps have dropped making it much more enjoyable to hike long days and it scares off a good amount of the summer crowds. This campground is right along the JMT so we were pleasantly surprised to be the only ones here.
Exactly one year from today we will be saying "I Do" and we couldnt be more excited for this next chapter in our lives!
After climbing 3000 feet in the last 5 miles we definitely felt like we earned this view. We probably could have took a longer break here but thought we only had about a mile before we made camp so we pushed on an additional 4 miles until we got to our campsite.
Even though we didn't catch any fish at this spot, I could fish here for hours! I love catching fish but just in case that doesn't pan out try to fish in beautiful places.
We're sort of morning people. Rob totally is and I....not so much. It does make it a little easier to drag myself out of bed when I can expect morning views like these.
Seeing this creek brought us an incredible sense of relief! We set out for a 3 day 2 night 12 mile loop through the John Muir Wilderness. We were planning on a 5 to 6 mile day the first day with short easy fishing days to follow. Turns out the online maps we had used to plan our route had the trails horribly marked and by the time we reached our night one stop we had hiked a brutal 10 miles. We definitely learned our lesson when it comes to online maps after completing our 12 mile loop in 22 miles.
