“Main tumhein bhool jaon yeh ho nahi sakta, aur tum mujhe bhool jao yeh main hone nahi doonga” Please tell me you know this dialogue! 😂
Issa shalwaar kameez kinda day. 🌸I’ve been missing in action lately because I’m sooo snowed under the hectic university routine these days that I don’t feel like doing anything & just want to go straight to bed when I come back home. Subah utho, university jao, ghar ao aur sou jao. Agalay din repeat. Not that I’m studying too hard, it’s mainly the travelling part (university being 50 mins away from my home) that wears me out. 😴 Outfit: Nishat Linen Handbag: Stradivarius Wait for @worldofbagallery’s lawn launch sale tomorrow night at 11.59 pm if you want to shop these items at up to 50% off! 💰 #BagalleryLawnLaunchSale #GetSetBag #BagalleryDeals
Last one from those chikankari shirts I bought last month. (See story highlight “What I shop” to know where to find these.) Paired this short shirt with a tulip shalwaar from @iranzostores 🌸 I really like the stitching style of this shalwaar & I’m planning to get one in black too but it shrunk a little after getting its first wash. ☹️
We’re all bad in someone’s story. Oh, and I love laces. 🖤
Remember the days when there wasn’t any internet connection available at home? I used to go to SOM library when we were in Jehlum Cantt just to play online games because it had computer & internet access back then. It was once when I wandered away from my father & got lost in the library. I don’t exactly remember how it happened but I do remember how I started to panic because I didn’t know my way back home either. I legit thought I won’t find him again (I blame my age for that silly thought lol) The library in-charge tried pacifying me & asked me if I know any number on which they can contact my father. Luckily, Abu had made all us siblings memorise his cell number from the very start in case of any emergency. Kinda hard to believe but he still uses the same Jazz number even after about 20 years now which is why the only cell number I remember after mine is my father’s. ♥️ 𝐀𝐩𝐤𝐨 𝐤𝐢𝐬𝐤𝐚 𝐩𝐡𝐨𝐧𝐞 𝐧𝐮𝐦𝐛𝐞𝐫 𝐲𝐚𝐚𝐝 𝐡𝐚𝐢? 🤪 𝐀𝐥𝐬𝐨, 𝐰𝐡𝐚𝐭’𝐬 𝐥𝐨𝐧𝐠𝐞𝐬𝐭 𝐡𝐚𝐯𝐞 𝐲𝐨𝐮 𝐡𝐚𝐝 𝐚 𝐩𝐡𝐨𝐧𝐞 𝐧𝐮𝐦𝐛𝐞𝐫? Mama is the worst with picture angles. My feet legit look like they are a size 14. 😂🦶 Also, what do you think about that pretty truck art on the wall? I couldn’t resist taking a picture with it. 🌈 -Outfit: @khaadi Simple light-weight lawn with no embroidery. Bless my tailor for stitching this for me within a day.
Nostalgia just transported me back to 2005 today. Being someone from a military family, I got the chance to stay in different cities in Pakistan including Sialkot, Multan, Panuaqil, Kashmir but the WORST part of moving to another station meant changing schools every now & then which further meant, going through the awful feeling of leaving old friends behind. When I was in class 3, my father was posted to Jehlum. Tongas were the mode of transportation to school back then which was new for me. 🐎 It was my first week in the new class & I remember crying my eyes out to the point where my teacher had to take me outside the room to talk to me about it. I remember having a pretty hard time getting adjusted to the new school with all the new kids & finding new friends but despite the difficulties, I managed to top my class with an excellent score. We hardly stayed in Jehlum for a few months & moved to Mangla afterwards where I made the best school memories! Now that I’m sitting here reminiscing old times, I feel so much better about the present & how things have changed so much over the years. It’s true that hard times don’t stay forever and ups & downs are a part of everybody’s life. -📸: @fizza_jafri #25yearsago #JazzxAaniat
6 pm photos aren’t the best kind of photos but I kinda like how everything’s so colour-coordinated in this shot. 🍂 Majority of you voted for this outfit on my @sapphirepakistan store-raid stories a week ago so here I am wearing people’s choice — ‘Sunset Glow’ from their Intermix Collection’19 stitched according to my style.☀️✨ Crochet lace, buttons & scallop-hem trousers added a lot to this outfit in my opinion. What do you think? 📸: @hira.iqbalphotography #SapphirePakistan #SapphirexAaniat
I had matching green khussas with this outfit which I didn’t wear only because I did the khwaari of applying green nail-colour which isn’t even looking green in this picture so... yeah... that’s my justification for wearing these chappals. 🍃 (And now everybody’s looking at my feet)
It hurts to be lied to, when you finally realise that you cannot, should not & better not believe a word a person says to you anymore. Would you trust him/her again after that person has lied to you on your face twice in your life until you backed up your facts with evidence & now he/she has no other escape than to admit & apologise? It’s easy to say sorry when you’re caught. Do you believe in giving someone a third chance & treat them the same way as you used to? I used to think differently but now, it’s the ‘forgive but never forget’ rule for me. I’ve realised that this world is full of crappy people who do not deserve your niceness at all.
تم چاہ نہیں سکتےاگر اللّہ نا چاہےتو۔ So many times we end up regretting the choices we once made as if things would’ve been different if we had acted differently in certain situations. I firmly believe that everything happens for a reason (we do know that Allah is the All-Knowing, right?) If we put all our trust in Him, I don’t think we’ll ever go through guilt & regret again. Once we know that our future is in the hands of the Best Planner, we surely won’t overthink on the things we can’t control. You must have heard this advice before too but we definitely need time-to-time reminders to feel sane. ✨ 📸: @hira.iqbalphotography
