You guys. I have been CRUSHING the gym lately. It’s my favourite part of my day, I look forward to it as soon as I get off work and I’m really starting to feel the effects of 27 consecutive days working on a better me. They say it takes 30 days to creat a habit right?! I’m well on my way and I’m so proud of myself and all the hard work and sweat that has gone into this body. Golf. What can I even say about golf. It’s there to challenge me, to humble me, to take me away from all the other things going on and command my full focus. It’s something that I constantly work on and yet I never know whether I’m actually getting better at 😂 but when I’m out there on the range or on the course, I feel at home! There are so many sports out there and it’s so important to try them all! Saturday sweat sesh complete courtesy of the gym and some golf! I’m still trying to get through this darn cold, but I actually felt amazing at the gym today! I’ve been focusing a lot on upper body strength and conditioning as well as trying to maintain my flexibility through yoga and stretching! For the first time in FOREVER I feel like I’m getting my mojo back in the gym! I’m actually excited to work out and get my gym session in each night! I went out Friday and Saturday night and still got a gym session in both days. I had a crazy busy Sunday running around doing errands getting ready for my roommate moving in today (eek) and I still managed to get my workout in (albeit at 8:30pm)! Having an accountability partner makes such a huge difference when trying to get back on that initial motivation train! 🙌🏼 I can’t wait for tomorrow and seeing all the babies dressed up in their Halloween costumes! Possibly the cutest thing ever! 👶🏼🎃 #motivated

Life has been CRAZY recently. I’ve been running around like a headless chicken lately between work and dinners and the gym. It feels good to be back on an schedule though. I’m back on keto, feeling some of the flu symptoms but 100x better than the last time I did it! It’s definitely a way of life and whether or not it’s for me in the long term will be decided as time goes on! Definitely feeling more energy though! Got a killer delt and abs workout in today and I’m already on my way to the next agenda post for the night!

For the longest time I’ve wanted to learn how to shoot a gun. Just to know how to do it safely and responsibly. Thankfully, the opportunity came about today and I got to shoot a 9mm pistol and a 308 rifle! Had sooo much fun target shooting! I think British and American views on gun laws will always be different, but most importantly, everyone should know how to safely and responsibly handle a weapon! I had literally every reason not to work out last night. First of all, I hate working out in the evening and would much rather go before work. Secondly, I didn’t have my @polarglobal watch and we all know the workout doesn’t count if you don’t track it 😜 Thirdly, my headphones were dead when I got there, and working out without music is not easy and lastly, who starts a workout program on a Thursday?! 😂🙋🏼 I decided on my way home that I would get changed, go to the gym and decide whether or not to work out once I got there. My mental trickery worked because of course, when I got to the gym it seemed crazy to be there and not workout, so I pumped out a killer back and delts workout from bodybuilding.com with the Navy Seal 40% rule in the front of my brain. They believe that when you’re tired and think you can’t do anymore, you’re only actually at 40% capacity. It’s a way of breaking through the wall. Of getting that last rep in. Of showing yourself that it’s simply mind over matter. I finished all my reps of weights that I previously would’ve given up on the second set because I thought I was too weak. Ladies and gents, it’s all about mindset. Decide you want it and you’re willing to work for it and you WILL achieve success.
