Morning. Right at the top of the list of ‘jobs to do’ is giving the front door a freshen up. You can’t see it from this photo but the paint on the door frame is starting to crack and peel. I still love this colour (DeNimes by @farrowandball) but I’m thinking about having a change up? At the same time we are going to paint the inside of the door to give the hall a bit more interest! Ad/gifted Afternoon all. The first wall of wallpaper in Matilda’s room is done! We’ve still got another wall to do but we’re planning on creating some frame style beading and framing the wallpaper on the other wall and are waiting for supplies to arrive. In the mean time I thought I would give you a peak at how it looks so far 😍. Matilda (creative designer on this project) brief was pink, fairies and flowers so we ticked all the boxes. I wanted a pattern that would grow with her and incorporate a variety of colours so we could switch up colours in her room and the wallpaper would still work. What do you think? I’m really pleased with how it’s turned out so far x . . Good morning. Hope you are all well? And for the home schoolers out there, the end is in sight🥂! I’ve been thinking about a hallway revamp for a few weeks now and I stumbled across this image and it gave me sooo much inspiration. I love our hall but I think it could do with a bit more interest (swipe to see how our hall is now). I would love to tile the floor, but worry about tiling over floorboards and I love the idea of painting the inside of the door to create some more interest too. ad gift Good morning! And the tiling for the oven splash back is done! Not quite sure why it’s taken us so long to finish this part of the kitchen but I love how it looks. I wanted something that was neutral but was quite different from what I had seen before. We have a strong pattern tile on the back of the island so I wanted something that wouldn’t clash with them. These tiles are the Sant Rafael tiles from @lapicidastone and I love the simple pattern on them and how they bring everything all together perfectly.
