You all know I love to get out of capital and explore a castle & new city, so a trip to Aberdeen and the surrounding area was on the cards this month! I hit the road to check out what Aberdeen had to offer (spoiler, delicious food, great coffee & a restful sleep!) before taking a short trip to Dunnottar Castle. This epic castle is perched on the seaside and one that holds a special place in my heart, for you see my first ever road trip in Scotland was to this very castle, so it felt rather poetic to visit it whilst the sunshine was beaming down on this glorious Scottish day.
