It’s been a week 😝( about time to make a post ) First 70.3 done... I don’t like writing race reflections, but I love reading them 😂 so that’s more for people like me. Overall really happy with the race as a whole. Not had the easiest mental prep month prior, it was difficult not gonna lie. The word to describe my prep would be «all-inclusive » 😅 Swim, ahhhh… I’m not sure how I can swim 1:23 pace 400s in a pool and then race at 1:40 in open water. Sight, stress, panic… I don’t know 🤔 but anyhow, that’s probably what I will go off fixing. I was ready for a “not-so-perfect “ swim so when I got out and saw my time I was pretty calm :) Bike, 🙈 first part of the bike was as planned. Had my numbers, had my nutrition I was enjoying it 👌🏽 second half 🤣 let’s just say @ironman70.3turkey had a different bike dynamic that I did not prepare for 🙈 Run, I had a plan… even tho first 15k I felt way better than my planned pace I thought I’ll just stick to it 👌🏽 last 6 k… I just wanna say @ironman70.3turkey YOU NEED MORE TOILETS 🚽 2 toilets on a run course were an issue .. lost 2-3 min on that situationship but hey, a good lesson for both me and Ironman Turkey 😄 Overall loved the run course, so cool running through the shopping centre with everyone cheering 😅 also @y_lemke @asti_kowski on the course 💕 Here comes the thank you part :) I’m not the easiest person to coach, so thanks to @to.erb for handling that part somehow 😂👌🏽 U know how they say your people should be there for you in hard times. A little later but :) That’s 24 in Girona done 🥂 Some thoughts out-load while sitting in @lacomuna.co :) My last 5 years are so different from one another, even looking back at where and how I’ve celebrated my birthday.
