Girls have an immense desire to make significant contributions to society and communities across India. And just like Pratha, they deserve equal opportunities. #WorldChildrensDay
A special moment as UNICEF Goodwill Ambassador David Beckham makes his first visit to India. He met with children from the Gujarat Youth Forum and budding innovators and entrepreneurs at GUSEC – their stories of strength, determination and resilience were a source of inspiration. In Banaskantha, he spent time with a vibrant adolescent group who are using art as a way to talk about their inspiring journey and how they have overcome challenges in their lives. He also met families who are part of the Kinship Care Programme and giving children hope for their future. UNICEF is working closely with the Govt. of India and its partners to make inclusion and innovation a reality #ForEveryChild. @gusec_india @elixirindiaorg

We're delighted to share that UNICEF India and YuWaah are endorsing the active participation of four young individuals in #COP28 — Mahiya Kulsoom, Arkesh Kedar, Shenoy, Manjusha Manchala and Aswini Kumar Paital. They have been chosen as part of the India Young Climate Leaders (2023-24), from among more than 120 LCOY India Delegates to attend COP28 as well as engage in activities beyond. Their exceptional on-ground efforts stood out prominently following a comprehensive evaluation and scoring of all participating delegates' applications.
NOT. EVEN. ONCE. There is #NoExcuse for gender-based violence. #16Days
Great news! Binita from the remote tea gardens of Rangapara, #Assam is going to school! Education is a right that every child deserves, and we're thrilled to see Binita thriving despite the challenges she may face. At UNICEF, we believe that every child should have access to quality education so that they can learn, grow, and achieve their dreams. #ForEveryChild, education
