Encircled by a ring of eleven residential, hotel and towers, Building12 is the natural philosophical center and pulse of the entire development. The design intent places a heavy emphasis on establishing Building12 as a communal center, not just for the Qplex development but also for the number of residential communities around it. Activity spaces are weaved into the development across multiple levels. Public plazas and roof gardens are carefully curated based on environmental conditions, spatial qualities and locations to maximize realistic usability. Timbered and turfed roofs blend into one another, creating multiple entries into the mall across various “ground levels”. It can also become a commercial landmark, seamlessly integrated with the site, improving site recognition. The design team extracted hexagonal beehive and the stripe pattern of the bees as the design language of the site to shape the plan. They created two functional areas of the beehive paradise and the beehive water theater with a relaxing and eventful place. Radisson Collection Resort🔻 The project is designed by @archi_union, located in Nanjing - China Photos by @schranimage @rocky_wongke The design sets five kinds of height difference changes, with a circular tour path as a clue, connecting five elements of the guest room units, reception Datang, public recreation, dining and entertainment, and landscape tour garden. The project introduced GIS visualization technology to analyze and interpret the relationship between the cliff wall, the pool scene, and the site trend. Bellgave Residence🔻 The project is designed by @_saota, located in Los Angeles - USA Photos by @mpkelley_ The architects lifted the house towards the view and established a series of intersecting and overlapping horizontal planes that project outwards from the cliff edge. The horizontal emphasis of the terraces and oversailing eaves reflect the city’s wide horizons, with a sense of volume and compression that responds to its distinctive character. The straight-lined city grid below is picked up as an ‘ordering principle’ for the structure and program of the house. Casa De Flore🔻 The project is designed by Arcadian Architecture, located in Taiwan Photos by Shining Group The project is a temporary building for the purpose of providing a place for the trading behavior of a real estate project named “Casa De Flore” which will be built on the same site at the end of the sale period. The main building is recessed from the approaching road to provide a parking space and a terrace landscape. The front façade of this building is arranged in a low profile solid appearance. A pebble courtyard is found in the center of the building. Serrangel🔻 The project is designed by Ce-St Design Studio, located in Foshan - China The pavilion is comprised of a cafe, community art gallery exhibition space, and a hands-on workshop. It serves to provide art and environmental awareness through the use of recycled mosaics and materials into paintings and sculptures. Part of the design of the facade is made from recycled glass mosaic and had to represent the client's appreciation for art and sustainability. 20°_A summer living experience🔻 The project is designed by @modulus_architecture, UC, located in Naxos Island - Greece Design starts from a very simple line that accommodates the three residences. This line breaks and rotates 20ο, in order to accomplish a better view to the sea and maximum privacy between them. The residences are formed by stonewalls that, when put transversely, separate the properties, giving them privacy and creating passages and inner spaces. The residences are designed in a way to promote an outdoor lifestyle. The big openings at the ground floor allow the internal and external spaces to merge into each other, blurring the boundaries between them.
