Masks: Vol 1 (an exert) The people that lurk in the dark corners, the ones that dress for themselves at home, those that have a genuine love for materials. They’re the people that we want in front of our lens. Our work isn’t limited to beautiful femmes and curated aesthetics, we’ve said this more times than we can count; but we are documentarians, and a very small amount of our work lives in the digital realm. We are *always* looking for genuine f*tishists to document, we don’t care about followers, weather or not you’re on the scene, how popular you are - we just care about you having a genuine love for k*nk. If you’ve been collecting latex, leather or f*tishwear for years and no one has ever seen, we’d love to be the first. We are specifically interested in masks because they are synonymous with k*nk, they allow us to stretch and push dynamics, they give a freedom to explore our se*uality in public spaces without fear of being recognised. Wearing one commits you to a fabric, to an alter ego, to a character you’ve created for yourself or one that’s been projected onto you. We wear them to stand out, to disappear, to feel powerful, to feel helpless. Every wearer has a different story and reasoning behind their choice to present anonymously. Thank you to everyone who’s taken part so far, we are still working on the series. If you’d like to be involved please email us on: [email protected]

Vol 2 (an exert) of our mask series, an ongoing body of work. We will never tire of exploring relationships that humans have with s_x, k_nk, B_SM and related materials. We hope you find the voices in this mini-documentary as captivating as us, but you’re left curious for more. As there’s more to come… Thank you to everyone who has been involved in this series so far, if you’re a mask/hood wearer who would like to be part of this please send us an email! [email protected]

We’ve dedicated the majority of our adult lives to s_xual visibility, documentation and expression. To an outsider we might just look like corrupt p_rverts, and it is undeniable that we are in part p_rverse. However, the want and need to capture and share the images we do is birthed from a devotion to accurately and diversely record a history of human desire. S_x is censored, in all capacities, and those that commodify s_xuality are stigmatised, chastised and frequently viewed as outsiders. With the histories of SWs often being irradiated and denied. Since we have had the ability to print and distribute images and text en masse, laws have policed what s_xual content we are allowed to consume. There are laws across the globe that still deny our ability to consume consensual images freely. The internet is the biggest cop of them all. We’ve spoken numerous times about our love for printed matter, and our ambitions to create platforms that are free of the bureaucracies of social media and other online spaces. The London Vagabond is our baby, but we want other ventures that runs alongside it that platforms images and writing other than our own, we are also passionate about creating physical spaces that centre s_xual freedom. After years of flirting with the idea, dipping our toes in and backing out, we are eventually ready. We’d like to formally introduce @obscenepublications we are launching this new endeavour by releasing two very limited edition T-shirts that have been hand printed in London. One with a concept we dreamed up of our muse @sweet.severine tied to a TN, that the talented @devilswork perfectly executed, the other is a photo T-shirt of a latex bound face. All proceeds from this release are going straight into funding our first big fat glossy magazine which will acknowledge our generations s_xual legacies, while still acknowledging our histories. Obscene Publications represents those that dress us for pleasure, those that cater to our desires, the politics around s_xuality and imagery that’s too filthy for the internet. It’s a space that’s free from stigma that actively wants to put those that work with s_x as a subject matter on a pedestal.

We’ve both wanted to go to Rubber Cult for many years, and it really didn’t disappoint. It was an incredible experience being around so many rubber lovers, witnessing their love and devotion for their “second skin”. We are always eager to expand our rubber based documentation, taking our cameras into niche spaces, that explore specific f_tishes is what inspires us most. It’s hard to explain how being in this utopian alien-like setting feels if you didn’t experience it first hand. We look forward to visiting again. If we didn’t get to take your photo/you’d like us to take it again/your a rubber enthusiast who would like to work with us, send us an email. [email protected]

Love, lust and moments in between. Usually we post a photo of ourselves on Valentine’s Day, but we haven’t had a second to catch a breath since 2023 began. One of us is bed bound, the other has been hobbling around on a bad ankle for weeks. So, we’ve decided to share a few images from our series on lovers (of all descriptions). A body of work which we will be continuing this year… What is it to be human? It’s a big question. Is it to love? Is it to f*ck? When are the moments that we feel most alive, most vulnerable? We’ve seen a lot over the last decade; people eating unspeakable things, large objects going into very small holes, lots and lots of mess, bodily fluids. sharp things, shiny things, marks from ropes. We’ve smelt a lot of smells and heard both laughter and tears, as well as the silence that anticipation brings. The continuum is the people engaging in such acts, in those moments they are free, alive. Nothing else exists but the pain or pleasure that they are subjecting/subject to. We are drawn to those moments in between, stills that just tell a fraction of the story that allows your imagination to do the rest. The hand that holds the lead, the toy before it’s inserted, the embrace after the ab*se. To all the lovers and others, happy fake love day, may you do unspeakable things all year round.

The masks we choose to put on can allow us to be the anonymous character of our own fantasies. In our daily lives some wear invisible masks, concealing their true selves. In these spaces we frequent consisting of dark corners, red lights, sweaty skin and an electronic pulse, putting one on can facilitate ultimate freedom.
