Another piece I made myself 😉 💜💚 8 years ago I was looking for a printed sari for my cousins engagement. Saw some beautiful ones online and all the ones I liked were way over my budget (I do have expensive taste 🙈) I then thought actually I can make one myself and that’s exactly what I did. Where i would have spent £350 (yes that’s how much the sari’s I saw were), i only spent £30 😁 I found the polka dot material on Southall Broadway, only cost me £6 for all the fabric, the purple raw silk material for the border I had sitting at home for years and the green material I again brought from Southall. Loved putting this together and creating the exact sari I visualised for not even a fraction of the price I would have paid out there.
