We’ve got some great music lined up for the RSR after party on both Saturday and Sunday. Along with Si our DJ we’ve got the @monotonesband back again playing from around midday on each day. And then ramping up the good vibes with some uplifting dance music with improvisation from @cat.on.sax It should be a great atmosphere down at the finish once again. The @thornbridge drinks will be flowing and a great selection of food will be being served too. A Special Stage change for 2023! Traditionally Stage 2 (King / Queen of the Hill / Mountain aka KOM / QOM) And The Sprint Stage 11 - sprinting into the finish for the final 400m Have been the 2 Special stages, with beer prizes for the winners, and pride on the stage rankings on the results of course! This year we’re mixing it up. Stage 2 (KOM / QOM) is no longer. Stage 9 is the new “King & Queen of the Downhill” Stage! 😎😜 Oof! Just what those aching quads need after 18km of racing - a nice 800m fast downhill stage. 😜 Running on the grass for the fast steep downhill bit might be the best tactic! Let’s see what you can do! It should be great for the pics / videos too. Summer has definitely arrived! Have you been trying to get out early doors to soak up some early morning sunshine along with the fresh cool breeze. Or embracing the heat and getting a sweat on? 😆😎 Amazing weather at the moment. Running with a dip of the toe (or more) in a stream maybe? Probably 50% of the RSR route has water nearby. Flowing streams and pretty ponds. Soak up some of the scenery in less than 2 weeks if you can! Pic from Stage 1 very close to the start this morning.

Race numbers have arrived at @myracekit_north! You should have all received an email with your race number on! Make sure you arm yourself with knowledge of this to pick up in store for the next couple of weeks, or on race day at registration at event HQ.
