I reached out to her just a couple of days ago through Instagram, and asked if I could photograph her working in her garden. She said yes! So just after sunrise around the corner I went with my camera, come to find out we only live about 1/4 of a mile from each other…800 feet to be exact! She recently started her small business, growing it from the ground up. She sets up at our local little farmers market selling her stunning creations with flowers from her garden! My garden loving heart just soaked up every moment capturing her at work, chatting about life and plants! Nothing was posed, or hurried. Once a month I shoot a session just for me as a break from “work” and allowing myself to be creative…it’s good for my soul. This was for me, but also for her! I know the hard work and dedication that goes into a garden, but also into building a small business!
