Last three weeks to see puffins in Iceland this year! Whether you believe it or not, 'now' is your last chance to see puffins in Húsavík in this year! From August 20 onwards, there will hardly be any puffins left in Iceland. You better hurry up if you don't want to see only stuffed lookalikes sold in Reykjavík souvenir stores!
We have had some really exciting days in the bay lately! But yesterday we had very surprise sightings when around 8 killer whales were spotted near Húsavík! Killer whales can appear on any whale-watching trip, but are not as easy to find as other species due to their transient nature; they do not tend to stay in the same area for long.
The fishing village of Húsavík is renowned for its spectacular whale watching opportunities and North Sailing's whale watching tours have given Húsavík the reputation of being Europe's whale watching capital. 🐋⛵️ Húsavík is a place to visit this summer!
