Probably the latest Ā«winterās overĀ» post in the history of Ā«winterās overĀ» posts, but I just packed for the first non-ski trip of the year soooā¦. Winterās over! Thank you for another white fluffy oneš¤ Now itās time to dance, drink beer, nap, surf, edit and edit. And edit some more :) Couloir from Instekongen on Senja, with @kriskopa back in 2020. I released that little slab as I dropped first, so Krister got to ride the top section on iceš„¶
Report after two months in The Alps: skiing is still funš Driving north now, with a belly full of cheese and harddrives full of new videos. Will try to get them up on the channel asap. While Iāve been on the road @polestarcars has kept at it, and now delivers the Polestar 2 that Iām driving with up to 635km range (long range Single motor). With a full charge delivered in just 28 min. And most importantly lifetime CO2 emissions have been reduced with a further 1.1 tons. Thatās green growth in practiceš± Filmed by @joonasmattila
Itās all smooth and fluffy untill it isnāt anymore
Climbed a Swiss mountain, and found this run down the backš« Thereās a train somewhere down there in the mist too. A train thatās most likely on time, and will take you back to the village. The jacket Iām wearing is a prototype for a new touring collection from @norrona, where Iām one of the small cogs in the greater design machinery. One of the cogs that make sure it works in the field. This is the second sample jacket, and itās already a whole new world compared to the first version. Before we all agree on the final version itāll have hundreds of hours in field, in all possible conditions, countless hours in the lab, and then itāll be crafted with almost 100 years of experience. A process which I do think will result in the best jacket you can possibly buy for what we do. Iāll let you know when itās done. And then weāll start the process all over again to make it even more functional, less harmfull to the environment and better looking next time aroundāØ #welcometonature Photo by @kriskopa Video by @joonasmattila
A few pizzas and a french fry todayš Been on the road since November now, and of that very long trip chasing winter this past week in Switzerland has for sure been the most memorable! Full video comingš½ļø Thanks for hosting us: @skiarena @myswitzerland @andermattalpineapartments Vid filmed by @joonasmattila
At first I was pinching myself. Then I was very stoked. Then I was very scared. Snow doesnāt really stick to stuff this steep back home. Might have ended up doing a few more jump turns than I planned todayš„µ
Today was fun. Thank you winteršš¤ And thank you @norrona for dressing me in all red (some say orange), and making this Topside series happen. Itās been by far the most pleasant one Iāve done. And yes, that does indeed look like some 2008 afterbang after the line haha. Not sure what was going on thereš Vid on location with @myswitzerland by @kriskopa #welcometonature
Ice cave choir boys on new adventures. Link in bio. Topside ep4, presented by @norrona
Iāve always brought a small headlamp just because the mountains are the mountains, and that quick tour turned overnight epic gets a little too epic for my taste in pitch black darkness. This @moonlightmountaingear Bright As Day 800 is that small form factor, but as bright as the first headlamps weād go night riding with when LED + lithium changed up that whole game. Which comes in handy for navigating crevasses on that alpine start approach too. Because despite the impression tomorrowās video might give you: safety firstš«” Photos by @andersvest Video by @joonasmattila
Hormones hitting like itās puberty all over againš *adrenaline is a hormone. If you didnāt know, now you know :)
