Demands... Protestors handed a petition to businesswoman Stina Wu in front of the Chinatown complex in Windhoek. After signing the petition she said Namibia is a friendly and peaceful country which is why she invested here. The protest is heading to the home affairs building.

No more... Natangwe Ngatjizeko has died at the Windhoek Central Hospital oncology ward. The son of the late parliamentarian Immanuel Ngatjizeko, died on 13 May 2022 after battling cancer. Natangwe was serving a 40-year jail sentence for killing his mother Fenny Ipinge in 2006. Windhoek Correctional Facility spokesperson Salmi Hangula confirmed his death to New Era.
No bail... The State has objected to granting Micheal Amushelelo and Dimbulukeni Nauyoma bail saying they face serious charges and might interfere with investigations. The matter will continue at 14h00 after Amushelelo's lawyer, Nambili Mhata and Kadhila Amoomo, who represent Nauyoma and the other six accused, requested the adjournment saying they need time to study the charge sheet. They appeared in the Katutura Magistrates Court.
