#Repost #Repost #Repost @wakana_yoshihara ・・・ Process of Jack Farthing becoming Prince Charles on @spencer_movie: Jack has long hair. He kindly offered me to cut his hair for Charles. However, I wanted to portrait him with accuracy, especially his loss of hair on the back. So we opted to keep Jack’s beautiful long hair and put a wig instead. Normal procedure for this type of work, should be a bald cap goes first, then a wig goes on top. Although I had a small team due to travel restrictions during lockdown, plus we had large cast, especially all royal family on HMU call.. So I had to design something less time and labour consuming. Then I asked @barriegower if there is anyway we could marry a bold cap and a wig together. Barrie said, “ I hadn’t done it this way, but let’s try!” @samuel_james_wigs_ and @hand.made.wigs made a wig for us and @dunxjar at @barriegower sculpted and produced a silicon skin to emerge Jack’s wig. @chloemp_mua from Barrie’s team took over and punched hair in until it was right consistency, so you won’t know where wig ends… Jack’s ears are flat compared to Prince Charles. Jack asked if there is anything we could do to push forward. @barriegower & @dunxjar made ear pieces to attach behind of his ears to push forward. For makeup, we made his skin peachy and slightly weathered. Not many people know that Jack’s transformation took some time and love to create. So I thought that I post it’s process. Original fitting was done by me @wakana_yoshihara. Then @nicolailes took care of Jack during the shoot, very beautifully.
