Guiding light. When we set out in 2019 to open Formative, we wanted to create something which, while a product of London’s coffee scene, also stood apart from it a little bit, but, most importantly, pointed to the future of quality coffee. Every day, we try to change how our guests view coffee- whether they’ve never liked coffee, or they’ve been a coffee professional for years. We try to brew espressos which are juicy and transparent, and our filter coffee is designed for balance and flavour clarity. It’s one month since Ian won the UK Barista Championship, and this week, we’ll have the @wilton.benitez92 @granja_paraiso_92 Pink Bourbon, which Ian used for two of his courses, on espresso, and available as a milk drink as well. Since 2019, we’ve been focussed on creating formative experiences for our guests in Westminster- whether they’re new to coffee or seasoned coffee professionals.
