Fall chili on repeat ๐Ÿ‘๐Ÿผ๐Ÿ๐Ÿงก One pot turkey sweet potato chili I love these healthy, easy, and warming meals for these cold days! Ingredients: 2 cans diced tomatoes 1 can kidney beans 1 sweet onion diced 1 red pepper diced 1 sweet potato cubed 2-3 tbsp chili powder (I add enough until I like the taste) 1/2 tsp oregano 1 tsp paprika 1 lb ground turkey Salt and pepper *Not pictured: 1tbsp oil, I added 1 cup chicken broth to thin it out a little, 1 can tomato paste, 2 cloves of garlic minced Directions: 1. Warm oil over medium-low and add in onion and garlic 2. Add in turkey and brown and use wooden spoon to break apart turkey as it cooks - mix in 1-2tbsp chili powder 3. Add in tomatoes, pepper, sweet potato 4. Add in reminder of the seasonings and beans 5. Add in broth 6. Stir to combine and let simmer for 20 minutes Then cuddle up on the couch and enjoy a warm bowl of chili ๐Ÿงก

One of my favorite warm and cozy meals! โ€ข Ingredients: - 3-4 acorn squash - 1# turkey sausage - 2 apples - 1 carton of mushrooms - 1 package goat cheese Directions: 1. Halve the squash and roast face down on sheet pan for 50 minutes on 350 2. While that is cooking brown sausage and then drain and pat dry the sausage 3. Dice apples and mushrooms and sautรฉ on medium heat until soft - season with salt and pepper 4. Add in sausage and mix to combine 5. Scoop mix into squash and top with goat cheese 6. Bake or broil till cheese is melted 7. Serve with salad Dig in and enjoy this delicious meal ๐Ÿ˜‹

Dinner last night ๐Ÿ˜‹๐Ÿ˜‹๐Ÿ˜‹๐ŸŒฎ๐ŸŒฎ๐ŸŒฎ โ€ข Whole wheat tortillas, salsa chicken cooked in the crock pot, peppers and onions, salsa, avocado, and quick pickled onions with a side salad. โ€ข Super tasty plus thereโ€™s tons of leftovers so I can make all the meals!!

This meal was a throw together that ended up being ๐Ÿ˜๐Ÿ˜‹๐Ÿคค Farro with roasted balsamic brussel sprouts and tahini chicken thighs topped with parmesan!! So tasty. Never be afraid to mix and match different foods! โ€ข I had brussel sprouts for another meal that we ended up not eating, farro in the pantry, and frozen chicken thighs. Use what you have and get creative! I love using sauces to spice things up - tahini, maple syrup, soy sauce, salad dressings! โ€ข Whatโ€™s in your pantry that you think could be a good addition to a meal this week?

10 minute dinner anyone!? โ€ข The key to this is having essentials on hand so youโ€™re always prepared: - lettuce/salad mix - this is @80acresfarms Queen City mix which is so good! - raw or cooked veggies - Iโ€™ve got carrots (roasted with olive oil, salt, pepper, and thyme) and @80acresfarms baby cucumbers - protein (I used @aldiusa chicken sausage) and an egg - healthy fats (egg and olive oil in salad dressing) SO veggies + protein + healthy fats = amazing and filling ๐Ÿฅ— Iโ€™m 10 minutes ๐Ÿ™Œ๐Ÿป โ€ข What do you keep on hand when youโ€™re in a pinch for dinner?!

HAPPY THANKSGIVING โ€ข Which one are you!? On Thanksgiving Day we tend to feel we need to โ€œsave upโ€ or restrict before the big meal - this is just plain silly. Like @chelseyamernutrition reminded us this week thanksgiving dinner is only 0.09% of the meals we eat in a year. Skipping out on breakfast or lunch does not help us, we end up being starving by the time dinner rolls around, we are hangry when weโ€™re around family and friends, we tend to eat more at the meal since we โ€œearned itโ€ which can make us feel sick, and this is not helping create a healthy relationship with food. โ€ข So have regular meals today AND enjoy Thanksgiving Dinner!!! โ€ข ๐Ÿ“ธ inspo: @eat.well.together
