One of the best experiences I ever had was watching my Type I denim jacket from Evisu being painted at the store in Tokyo. ⁠ ⁠ Evisu was the brand that started my journey into raw denim so this experience was like completing a loop for me. I also had @d._p._w right there with me. It was the first time we travelled together and this led to a firm friendship and countless other travels after that. ⁠ ⁠ Over the years I have learned one thing about selvedge, raw denim. The jeans don't matter that much. It's the associations with the jeans that do. ⁠ ⁠ These ain't my jeans.
