Hiked up the side of a bear infested mountain in the dark for this view, carrying 2 chairs, 3 lenses, a midnight feast and about 3 million jackets. Worth it tho 😯

My obsession with whales continues 🐋 👀 —————— ✨ We went on a humpback whale watching trip in Juneau, Alaska a few weeks ago & the whale pros told us a few things about the whales that were interesting to me so I thought I would share... ✨ —————— 🐋 the whales found in the Alaska area spend their summers in Alaska and their winters in Hawaii (Alaska to feed, Hawaii to give birth to their calves) 🐋 after the babies are born, they feed off their mothers for one year only, before they separate 4eva 🐋 the milk is thick like cottage cheese/is a toothpaste consistency (vom). The baby drinks up to 50 gallons of it a day, and puts on up to 100lbs a DAY in weight 😳 ——————— We were also really lucky and got to see tonnes of humpbacks just off the side of the cruise ship. Probs around 80-100 in total over a few days, one time a pod of about 40 together. ❤️ ——————— One whale (quite a distance from the boat) went on a breaching spree and breached over and over again. He was a speck in the distance to us but we somehow noticed him and got to see him through the binocs 🙉 ✨I found it really humbling watching something that goes on everyday in their world but never in ours. Moments like these really are the best and remind me why I love to travel ✨

Unreal mountain sunset scenes ☄️ —————— 📢 Radio silence from me for the past few weeks! No access to the internet for a while was good for the soul tho. —————— 📍Found ourselves in Mount Rainier National Park in the US for a few days. It was only a 2hr drive south from Seattle and we had nowhere else to be so thought we’d take the detour. 🏔 Insane mountain views, a mummy bear and her cub, some really cocky chipmunks, the Milky Way and a UFO hovering up in the sky. Overall a successful first stop on our road trip adventure 🚙 ✌🏻 ps anyone else seen a UFO in this part of the world? literally no other explanation other than a UFOOO 🛸

Another level of blue 💦. We rented a private speedboat for the day from #Sivota and it was so good we did it the next day too. Stay away from the north of the island and get straight down to #Vasiliki, #Sivota and the gorge southern beaches. Much quieter / less touristy and way prettier too 🌺
