Happy birthday my @nehakapur You’re my go-to person at every hour. Without our conversations, my therapy bills would be outrageous. I’m so glad that we are growing older together, and that you’ll always have a head start 😉 You are the purest soul, and you have the biggest heart. May all of your dreams come true. Cannot wait for our next adventure together. Here's to laughing at our own jokes and keeping each other sane. Love you to the moon and back my Ne. ♥️ #happybirthday
What an honor ♥️ Thank you for inviting me into your extraordinary group of #stayhome girls series @rebeccamosesofficial Thank you for this portrait and sharing my story about my tribe. Maybe post quarantine we should get the girls in this series together. Check out Rebecca’s page to read my story and learn more about her work. #quarantinestories #mytribe
New World // Day 28 Missing the simple pleasures of our previous life. Being able to go grocery shopping without a mask, hand sanitizers, gloves, disinfecting wipes, staying 6 ft apart and being able to find toilet paper easily. 🤦🏻♀️ . Sending you all so much love ♥️ Stay safe and stay indoors everyone #thistooshallpass
THANKFUL // Day 25 Sometimes I forget to thank the people who make my life so happy in so many ways. Just wanted to say thank you to everyone in my tribe who has checked in to see how I was and where I was. No I’m not traveling and yes I’m staying inside my home. Sending you all love and strength. Remember the most valuable gift you can give to your friends during quarantine – distance. #thistooshallpass #throwback
CONTROL // Day 23 Sometimes the path of least resistance is the correct path. Right? 🤔 So letting go of control and giving myself the license to relax the no Peppa Pig (anyone else think she’s bratty AF 🤨)and Mickey Mouse screen rule a bit. #thistooshallpass #whateverittakes
SIMPLE LIVING // Day 19 When you are without any commandments, and when you live on the spur of the moment - natural, spontaneous, simple and ordinary - there is a great celebration because you have arrived home. Trying to live every day mindfully and purposefully (while running a business, a toddler attached to my hip, being a cook, a maid, a teacher, an emotional support animal to many etc etc ...FML 🤦🏻♀️😐) #thistooshallpass
Day 13 Accurate representation of my emotions in a day. Yesterday was mostly the first 🙄🤷🏻♀️ #emotionalrollercoaster
Never ever taking my freedom to take another outing with friends for granted...ever again. I know I’m not the only one who feels this way. Thankful for technology for keeping me connected with all my loved ones.♥️ #thistooshallpass #stayindoorsstaypositive
ADAPT // Day 11 In a matter of weeks Covid-19 has changed every aspect of our lives - including business. At this time of global uncertainty, uniting with others in pursuit of a common cause seems more and more important. Discovering new ways to propagate the importance of sustainability and quiet luxury. Teaching the value of craft and seasonless. I am proud to work with brands that already pursue such ethos in their brand DNA and have always led with integrity and authenticity. I see a lot of benefits for small brands in the upcoming months as they are able to adapt and adjust their businesses quickly. I already see so many virtual showrooms go up and the demands for "locally made" products increasing. The fashion Industry was already looking to evolve for quite some time now and this global crisis is making brands adapt much faster than anticipated. Now, more than ever, is the time to communicate sincerely and authentically with your consumers. Now, more than ever, is the time to get creative and proactive. #thistooshallpass . What are your some of your favorite #locallymade brands? Does that matter to you as a consumer? (Locally made can be your city, state, country...you get it) ♥️
SHIFT // Day 9 It never looks like how you expect. While I'm distancing myself from the outside world right now, I am not distancing myself from the simple pleasures of life these days. Everything I always wished I had time for but got consumed by the culture of busyness...almost addicted to staying busy. These things are currently on my priority list: self-care, inner healing, faith, hope, self-development, love, laughter, kindness, empowering conversations, time with my super energetic 2.5 year old (I’m currently hiding in her fort 🙄) and anything that brings me joy. Seeing this time as a gift and not a curse. We all process things differently so there are no right or wrong feelings. We are all experiencing this together and navigating it with the best of intentions. Not letting fear of the unknown consume me and staying positive because this too shall pass #hiddenblessings ♥️🍷
RESET // Day 6 Of self quarantine over here. Resetting our lives as our planet takes a much needed rest to heal itself. Taking nothing for granted and using my time productively. Grateful for my health and that I can work from home, but know that I count on many who are going to work. Thank you to all the healthcare professionals who are working tirelessly and putting their own lives at risk. If you don't need to go anywhere, please stay home. It is critical to stay at home and flatten the curve. We are all in this together. Remember to be kind and check in on each other. Count your blessings and pray for the ones who have it harder than us. Try to stay calm and have faith. This too shall pass. Stay safe and well everyone. #staystrong ♥️ . In the meantime, virtual dinner party anyone? 🍷
Fast fashion isn’t free. Someone, somewhere, is paying. As consumers, we have so much power to change the world by just being careful in what we buy. Every time you spend money, you’re casting a vote for the kind of world you want. What are your thoughts? #sustainablefashion vs #fastfashion
