My bhabi, my brother’s wife. A doctor in Sweden. Though her current location doesn’t matter since all doctors around the world are in the similar position right now - healing people from a global disease, which is still under research. On the left picture she is holding one of my nephews, her son. On the right - her everyday look and uniform during current pandemic. She didn’t see her children and husband for 2,5 weeks. 2 little boys didn’t see their mother for 2,5 weeks. Her husband (my brother) has to deal with work, groceries and 2 little kids at home for 2,5 weeks (luckily not completely alone, my bhabi’s mother is there). Why? Because as a doctor she is on the mission to save lives and help all Covid-19 positive patients. She has no excuses, but responsibilities. Does she want to hold her baby like on the left picture? Of course. Does she want to have a heart warming dinner in her own house? Of course. Does she want to spend time with her family? Of course! Instead - she personally decided to isolate herself from family. She lives next to the hospital and works there everyday so that patients could recover as fast as possible. This is her and other medical staff’s sacrifice in order to provide patients any support or treatment possible. Doctors all over the world suffer and have to forget about their personal life and wishes right now. Staying at home for doctors is an unacceptable luxury... However we can support them. We can stop the chain and #flattenthecurve. We can give these heroes of nowadays a hope to see their own families in safe conditions soon! All we need to do is just STAY HOME It might not be easy. It might make you feel miserable or depressed for a few days. But then... just think about the doctors once - what are they going through everyday?... Let’s help them, let’s make their hard work easier, let’s all get back to our normal lives as soon as possible. For that please - let’s just #stayhome 🙏🏼🙏🏼🙏🏼 For more updates on safe practices please make sure to visit @WHO or https://bit.ly/WHOCovid19BD I am honored to be a part of the social leader awareness campaign supported by the @Ictdivision and @nationalbanklimited.
Throwback to the last year... Trust me, the more we stay home all together now and #flattenthecurve, the sooner we will be able to enjoy our life like before... Let’s be patient, good times are coming soon. #stayhome
