Baby blues, blondes and bobs. These are a few of my favorite things. 💙🤍💙 #olaplex #makemeblonde #lob #blondeexpert
In case you wanted to know, these are my days of COVID hair must haves: TANGLE TEEZER- it’s so gentle on my tangly, fine hair post shower and I love using it on dry hair too. If I could only have one brush, this jelly bean shaped brush is it! 🍑 OlAPLEX NO 3- All time favorite treatment for frizz control, repair, adding shine and moisture. A must have for any blonde. I love to sleep in it or wear it all day which is easy in quarantine. VITAL PROTEINS COLLAGEN CREAMER-☕️ my first cup of the day always has a heaping scoop of this stuff in it. The vanilla tastes great on its own in coffee or frothed with a bit of nut milk. I started taking collagen when a bunch of my clients whose hair was noticeably thicker all told me they were taking it. Your skin, hair and nails will grow like crazy and be stronger. I have way less pain in my knee and shoulder joints too which is just as big of a benefit in my books. The peptides are great too, toss them in a shake, quarantine baked goods, soups, just about anything! 🍞 🍜 ORIBE SUPERSHINE LIGHT- I appreciate a product that does double duty. You can apply this wet and air dry or blow dry, and you can apply this on dry hair instead of an oil for frizzy bits. ✨ WOW DREAM COAT CURLY HAIR- I don’t really have curly hair per se, so until the stay at home I only used the OG on my hair and loved it. I started air drying more often since I’m not working and my wave is stronger from not heat styling. This stuff is amazing! Weightless and noticeably less frizz. Plus it’s an anti humectant which is a MUST in the summer! INVISABOBBLE SCRUNCHIES- I love my scrunchies as you know. Especially now that my hair is in a messy bun or top knot about 80% of the time. Like right now as I write this. 👱♀️ MOON JUICE SUPERHAIR- This clean vegetarian hair vitamin targets stress with adaptogens, 🌱 replenishes vitamin deficiencies linked to hair loss and thinning hair, protects the follicles with botanicals and builds strength with micronutrients. If you aren’t taking a hair supplement or any vitamins in general, I highly recommend you start with a daily dose of Superhair. #makemeblonde #blondehair #healthyhair #productoftheday

Quarantine GOALS! This babe, my client Claudine, is an inspiration 💞✨Fab hair and fit AF 💪 If you are looking for a fitness routine to do on your own, check out her page @fitover50club or hop on her IG Lives for a killer workout and a fun playlist to match! Stay beautiful, be well blondes! 👱♀️
Even in quarantine, this fitness queen looks flawless! 👸🏼 For a good sweat, follow @ellefitmichelle and @ellefitnessto and join one of their IG Live classes. 💪 I did Michelle’s bootcamp class a couple of days ago and I got my ass kicked! 🙈 And my sweat smelled like brown sugar. Because in between exploring IG fitness classes, I’ve been baking... A lot! 😬
Happy national puppy day.! Our Chelsea, 7 years young, and still a pup at heart...... 🤍🤍🐶 🤍🤍 In the words of Maya Angelou, “God put rainbows in the clouds so that each of us in the dreariest and most dreaded moments can see the possibility of hope.” 🌈🌈🌈🌈🌈🌈🌈🌈🌈🌈
I’m not the greatest at remembering to take before and afters and staged photos of my clients, but I’m pretty great at removing box dye and getting clients back to blonde after playing with color at home. 😀 CLIENT 1- Jamie came to me after 8 years of coloring her hair natural blonde hair with black with a box dye. She was game for a big cut, and understood that her hair would still have warmth to it after the first session. This process took a total of 12 hrs. 8 on Saturday, 4 on Sunday. The challenge was it had to be complete in 1 weekend since she travelled from Sudbury for the appointment. CLIENT 2- Julie has been wanting to go back to blonde and grow her hair longer. She was willing to be patient with the sessions and knew it wouldn’t be over night. The after pic is the third slow and low color session. This allowed her hair to heal and grow while doing a color change. We said bye to the black hair on thanksgiving and hello to the platinum pixie on family day. CLIENT 3- Julie’s daughter, Lily came to see me over Christmas break. We spent 6 hours gently lightening her hair and cleaning up the canvas so that she can play with color depositing conditioner and unicorn hair at home. Julie is not only a cool mom, but she’s a smart mom and understood that an at home bleach and tone would not end well! Kids, you can play with rinse outs at home but do not attempt to bleach your hair on your own. It will not only end up orange, but you will probably destroy your hair’s health and strength too.
Sometimes I get my hair done too 💁🏼♀️💇🏼♀️ Thank you @kearybladel and @andrea_peterman_ for making me feel pretty again and experiencing what it’s like sitting in the chair instead of being behind it 💛💛💛
Bye California, see ya in a month! 😘🌴☀️ Back in Toronto and starting my work week right tomorrow with this babe’s full head of highlights 💛💛💛 . . . . #makemeblonde
