S L I M E • a throwback to just before my temporary closure in March. Some slime inspired neon green, teal and yellow on my girl @ashvsevilbread to show off on her @twitch profile. If you’re a gamer and love horror - check her out! I used @schwarzkopfcan Blondme to prelighten and @fanola purple shampoo to pretone. The dark teal root, lime green and yellow are all courtesy of @pulpriothair 💚💚💚 More vibrant fun colours like these please! #hairbypea #limegreenhair #torontohairstylist
P R E & P O S T • brightened up her mane and her day! Seeing as how her year long grow out was still in decent shape (note the lightness of the ends), all I had to do to update this look was classic foil highlighting - heavier framing the face, with a little shadow root at the sink. Used @lanzahaircare Decolourizer to brighten her up to a level 10 pal yellow using tools from @framar foils, brushes, whisks and bowls. Started foiling from nape upwards towards the front increasing volume from 10-25. Processed for an hour. Rinsed and used @schwarzkopfcan @schwarzkopfusa vibrance in 6-12 and 6-0 equal parts for the shadow root. 9.5-49,9.5-1 ratio of 1:2 mids to ends. Processed for 15 minutes. ❤️❤️❤️
D E E P • W A T E R • took @jamiejazzhandz from her natural level 5 to this bold cobalt and midnight blue. For the pops of cobalt, I started out by using @schwarzkopfcan 3-222 at the root and painted down about 2 inches. Then I backcombed slices out of the hair beginning at the occipital going up using diagonal sections scattered in a bricklaying pattern with a higher concentration at around the front hairline.... I lightening below the backcombing with @lanzahaircare Decolorizer 30 vol...incubated in @framar foils. Applied the remainder of Schwarzkopf 3-222 in between foils all over...procesed for for 40 minutes. Removed foils, Rinsed in warm water allowing the dark blue root to wash into and pretone the lightened pieces, towel dried. Used @pulpriot Nirvana and Nightfall equal parts on prelightened parts.... processed for 25 minutes. Rinsed with cold water and styled.
S T O P • S C R O L L I N G - and read it again. In fact...screenshot it, print it, make it your screensaver, post it on your fridge...whatever!!! Just don't ever forget it. 😘🤗💕
D R E A M S • Ashley’s bridal look last summer is what dreams are made of. I was so grateful to have been a part of this special day! You’re an incredible human and this post was a long time coming!!! Can’t wait to share more. @ashleyjoex
S W I P E • to see the before photo!! I racked my brain to figure out how to get rid of the stripey, chunky, brassy meets over processed highlight (not my work). I took a step away from this before I got started. Decided I was going to start with a root smudge/shadow root to try and camouflage the harsh line of demarcation from bleach. I began with @redken ShadesEQ in a 5N and 6T equal parts at the root...smudged out with a 7N and 8NB equal parts. I used a cool tone at the root to blend with the natural colour and a warmer mid tone so that the colour doesn't end up looking muddy or grey. What I though would be a 4+ hour process ended up being a 1 hour correction. Thank you Redken ShadesEQ!! #hairbypea #torontohairstylist #redkenshadeseq

L A T T E • transformed Kady's post wedding length and darkness for a shorter and brighter look. Loving this! Thanks for putting your trust in me for this mega makeover! @stonecolddaffern xx
A N O T H E R • O N E - Used all @redken #shadeseq for this subtle, yet significant transformation. Half a head of @framar foils using @lanzahaircare decolourizer and @olaplex with 20 vol developer. Neutralized the yellow and brassy roots and underneath with 7V and 7N. The rest was a mixture of 9V/9T/9P/clear 2:1:1:1 So subtle but so necessary! @misha_kuczy #hairbypea #redkenshadeseq #torontohairstylist
