The other day @shoesimmygettingskinny shared her incredible story with her community and we just had to reshare it! 😍⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ "The pic on the left had me weighing in at 97 kilos. I was absolutely miserable 😪 I asked my husband for a gym membership for Christmas and joined @fernwood_loganholme on the 02/01/2019. From the moment I joined I was pretty much hooked! Maree and Brenda are always so friendly, @annette_rnf and Iman do the most amazing job in the creche and are always so easy to talk to even though they probably have their own stuff going on, they always make time for me ❤😀 They are so, so patient with my boys even though I know they could test the patience of a Saint!!!!! @ashmartland is soley responsible for making me love group fitness classes as her dedication to making sure you get the most out of all of her classes is phenomenal. (I am pretty sure she also does have eyes in the back of her head so you are way too scared to not keep going 😂) I did a 12 week challenge with Fernwood and had amazing results but my motiviation started waning so I was looking at something that would fit into my lifestyle and help me maintain my weight loss long term. Enter @thebod_ and @sophie_guidolin! I bought the Starter Bod book, used the macro calculator, completed the 12 week challenge and haven't looked back! I was one of those people who thought that macros were too complicated for me but I'm so, so glad I gave it a crack. Absolutely life-changing! I have lost fat from places I didn't think I could even lose fat from, I looked leaner earlier and I can eat any food that I like so it never feels like I'm deprived, removing whole food groups or on a diet. The best thing is that I have kept the weight off (nearly 25 kilos) and by using macro counting as a weight loss tool, I'm confident it will stay that way 😀".
