All white will be my #SS20 color code; whenever we resume dressing up of course. @azzedinealaiaofficial
The sun is still shining🌞💜
My brain hasn’t stopped going from a thought to another after last night’s “Live With Lana” session with @racylegh. We discussed the stages of Mental Health that one goes through during times of crisis. Starting with denial and going through several things stage by stage. I was interested to do the exercise and see that I had slowly been through each until reaching “acceptance” about two weeks ago. At first, I remember mocking the situation; I then went through a phase where I did not want to text anyone, create any content, check any email, workout, etc. Total denial. It took me time to “grief” my freedom and accept this new normality, my new routine. As everything settled in inside my mind, I realized I started to enjoy this phase; I hadn’t been at home with my loved ones for so long. Ideas started to flow again, the need to reconnect with others, to see their faces on video, to hear their voices but also the physical strength to get busy in the kitchen, break a sweat or spend focused time with Zayd. This is all new to us but I am sure we will learn to make the most of it as long as we remember that productivity doesn’t define us. We all cope at our own pace. Yes, we said good bye to to our freedom, our schedules, our friends, etc. so we MUST accept that it’s okay to take our time🙏🏻 I am loving these talks with specialists as I’m learning enormously, I hope you are too🤞🏻♥️ — Be online tonight at 8PM as I discuss with @didiswellnest (Holistic Nutrition Health Coach) stress, sleep hormones, meditation and binge eating — My guest yesterday was Rassil Ghazzaoui, Clinical psychologist at AUBMC and board member of the Lebanese Psychological Association (LPA).
Another unpublished shot from Paris. #diorjoaillerie
Always a favorite👖 — Tune in at 8PM as I go live with @tonyelmendelek to reply to all the questions I’ve received but also for a LIVE demonstration of some of the best homemade natural hair masks🥰. PS: We will plan a second session next week as I’ve received soooo many questions🤞🏻
Unpublished from #Paris, in a @husseinbazaza blazer and a @vanina_world feather bag. Thinking of all the Lebanese/Regional designers, handwork ateliers, “petites mains” and small businesses today. This too shall pass and I hope you will resume your creativity work🤞🏻♥️
A personal favorite. I have something for everything that contains “neroli” (orange blossom)..it reminds me of the incredible smell during Spring in our family garden in South Lebanon. Something I can’t wait to smell again 🌱🍊🙏🏻 — Note: The pictured version of the fragrance, “Intense” is no longer produced.
Fourth round in this outfit😝💜 - ordered a huge poster to start coloring; it apparently helps with relieving anxiety as the brain enters a meditation state while coloring. Will show you once I receive it tomorrow🤞🏻 How are you using your time, suggestions please😅👇🏻
Camera roll findings.
The situation brings me to reflect on how much we have and all the wonderful things in our daily lives that we take for granted. Like our health, for example, but also, something as simple as the privilege of going out for cup of coffee. Despite all the challenges this pandemic has brought, it has also brought a powerful reminder to be conscious of everything we have previously overlooked, because we considered it “normal”. Hopefully, when all this ends, we will be able to resume our daily lives with more presence and gratitude, and a different attitude towards the little things in life...♥️
