Today’s work day went a little something like this.

“If you don’t jump to put jeans on then baby, you don’t feel my pain.” 💯 #Beythick #scorpio #haitian

🖤🖤

Please read and follow @blk.thought . Just found this amazing, informative page about inspirational black history. Since many thanked me for my post yesterday, hopefully this is useful as well. PUT 👏🏽SOME 👏🏽RESPECT 👏🏽ON 👏🏽OUR 👏🏽COLOR! 👏🏽 And thats also for everybody, black, white or poc... everyone. At least know the history of the people you look down upon, even if it’s your own! #BLM MUST be respected and acknowledged in order for #allivesmatter to exist, truthfully. 💯🖤💯🖤💯🖤💯🖤💯🖤💯🖤💯🖤💯🖤💯🖤💯

#SAYTHEIRNAMES I’ve seen these photos a hundred times over. Bet you have also, however, I’ve never known the stories behind them. I assumed they were lost stories and lost names, therefore I never checked. 🤦🏽♀️ Today I learned exactly who they were and why they were killed in this fashion and let me tell you, I kinda wish I didn’t. It’s always senseless and undeserving pain brought to the black community and to hear the similarities to today’s world is shocking. They did this because A white man accused them of simply having too much money. It must have been stolen. Kind of like the nice ass cars black folks have in today’s world, that just couldn’t have been theirs. Or the murders/crimes that randomly is pinned onto them with no evidence. Kind of like the countless black men falsely accused of a heinous crime left to rot in prison only to be released 10, 20, 40 plus years later due to their innocence. #centralpark5 Wasting a lifetime behind bars unjustly. I am sadden to have learned their stories but it’s a necessity going forward. A reminder that certain vessels used to oppress the black community is still very accessible and prominent in today’s world. This helped revive my thoughts and spirits for the BLM movement and here’s why... WE ARENT crazy, these profiled stops and 911 calls, AREN’T unrelated to race and is seemingly a sick tradition passed on from the great grand fathers, posing happily in that mob photo (3rd slide). I can only hope that now that you know their names as a black person, an ally and/or a concerned citizen, that you will take it upon yourselves to help spread their story and name. Because they and their daily oppressions were very real... as real as you and yours, are today. #BLM #saytheirnames #roosevelttownes #robertmcdaniels

A day’s work. 🖤

Someone accused me of trapping. Can you you believe that? I’m innocent. 💔 #scorpio #haitianwomen

My son threw sand every where today but mainly at my sister... thank god 😂😂. A lovely beach day. #shethick #familybeachday #naturalbod

Yesterday at work, I couldn’t focus. A story about a woman who was murdered in cold blood, refused to leave my mind. Police are allowing her murderers to roam freely. She died months ago and they know exactly who did it. Can you believe that? Her name was Breonna Taylor and she was THE SHIT. A beautiful smile from ear to ear and a hard worker who was brave enough to pull up on the scene FIRST; during all and any catastrophe. That’s that EMT life, that EMT courage. Please go sign the petition for that beautiful, brave and courageous black woman... like I did. Please go donate to her cause... like I did. She needs us rn, she needs us to PULL UP FIRST! Every morning, every night, every day till her existence on this earth, receives the justice it immensely deserves. 🗣 Make her name trend again, by all means necessary. Let’s prioritize her justice. 🗣 LETS PUT BREONNA FIRST ❗️Even if it means tricking your followers into paying attention again. 🤦🏽♀️😔 P.s this is not for likes so idc if you don’t like this post. Figuratively and literally speaking. As long as Breonna is back trending, we all should do what we can to 🗣Bring back the focus and get justice for her❗️We are almost there, link in bio for her petition. #blacklivesmatter #breonnataylor #nowthatIhaveyourattention #BLM #nojusticenopeace #defundthepolice

We are phenomenal BLACK QUEENS...We build...We do not tear down other BLACK QUEENS...We have felt the pain of being torn down and we decided we will be deliberate about building others!!!! All too often, we women find it easier to criticize each other, instead of building each other up. With all the negativity going around let's do something positive!!!! 🤎 Upload 1 picture of yourself......only you!! Then tag as many sisters to do the same. Let's build ourselves up, instead of tearing ourselves down! Thanks for tagging me @noellerose12 and many other beautiful black women who tagged me on this post. Love you all 🖤 📸 @film.grain

Now is not the time to “get tired”. I’m glad white people joined this time around in such heavy numbers because as you get pepper sprayed and tossed by racism, I hope you realize how exhausting this shit is. How it’s HARD AF and how you might die doing it and how you might lose an eye doing it and how your back is in pain from doing it. And all that you are sacrificing, for us... remember we had to do it for 466 years through our lineage. I hope you are tired, not because I want you to quit but because you need to feel just how strong this systemic racism is. I want you to realize it will take your granddaughter’s, granddaughter’s eyes to see the light at the end of it. And with all that pain and exhaustion you NOW carry in your bones and in your heart, my friend... you still gotta go up them mountains. 💔😔🤯🥺💯

Come again... 🧐
