For those who have been following me, you probably know by now that walking lunges is one of my favorite leg exercise. So many variations to keep it fun & challenging. When I do them, I really get in my zone, focus completely on what I'm doing and keep going until I reach the finish line. I do them either as a first exercise, as a transition between quad & hamstring or as a finisher. Do you ever doubt yourself? So many people fail simply because they do not have the right mindset before even attempting it, they already have so many negative thoughts... Looking for a great amino acid supplement? The Alpha EAA from @nutrabio has to be te best I've ever tried. CLIENT TRANSFORMATION She came up to me about 3 months ago because she wasn't comfortable with herself, she didn't want to wear a bikini at the beach, she was self conscious of every outfit she wears, she didn't even want to send me her before pictures. . Today, just by looking at the pictures above, you can tell that her confidence went up. She feels much better about herself, she feels healthy, she's happy. She brought a level of discipline in her workouts that I personally didn't even expect. I'm very proud of her accomplishments so far. I read this quote for the first time a few years ago and still today, I find it very powerful, if not more. A lot of you might not get it but I'm sure that those who adopted the lifestyle can relate to it. Yes losing fat is great, gaining muscles is great too, but the feeling you get from being healthy, from taking care of yourself, being strong and confident, being happy and so forth... is unmatchable. And I'm not talking about just working out, but really living the lifestyle. If you ever get a chance to do so, I highly encourage you to do so. Give it a minimum of 3 months only. Let's talk protein shake!! Often I hear people, guys and girls, talk about protein shakes and their fear of bulking up. A protein powder is simply another form of adding protein to your system. The main difference is that you are used to eating your protein, but with the protein powder you drink it. But if you could transform a piece of chicken breast into powder, then you would have a scoop of protein powder. Now there obviously are different types of protein powders, from very healthy to not so healthy. That will depend on the macronutrient composition and all other chemicals that are added in the powder, just like the different chemicals that are added in the chicken. My recommendations when buying one are to look for about 20 to 25g of protein per scoop, less than 1g of fat and less than 1g of carbohydrates per scoop, but also to make sure that the other ingredient list is very short and that you understand everything that's listed.
