This time kijana #MrCluelessFoodie savoured some delicious tilapia from @thebigfishke located along Garden Estate Rd, Nairobi. As a lauded restaurant, my expectations were high... and it did not disappoint. The wet fry, from Lake Victoria (Nam Lolwe), comes fried with onions, tomato, & a side of greens. And nikamalizia na soda BARIDIIIIIII mbaya. The tilapia itself was surprisingly moist (in a good way) and had a refreshing palatable attitude. No fishy business here, this fish was AMAZING. The star of which was definitely the perfectly cooked ugali. Overall, I give it an 9.5/10: a new exceptional restaurant that you should check out, and the permanent menu item. 🗞 @MTEMBEZITRIBE

ALL YOU NEED TO KNOW ABOUT #EndSARS. Nigeria’s federal Special Anti-Robbery Squad (SARS) is widely accused of unlawful arrests, torture and even murder. SARS officers typically target and detain young men by accusing them of being online fraudsters, simply on the evidence of owning a laptop or smartphone, and then request arbitrary and exorbitant bail fees before they regain their freedom. In more extreme cases, SARS officers abduct civilian targets and force them to make withdrawals at an ATM in exchange for their freedom, sometimes at gunpoint. The unit is also known to target young women as well with several reports of women being raped while in detention. Hundreds of people have protested against alleged police brutality for a second day across Nigeria after a video of a man allegedly being killed by police went viral. For the past two days, young Nigerians have protested in front of the Lagos state house of assembly at day and at night. It’s an in-person manifestation of a long-running anti-SARS campaigns on social media platforms. Now the protests are rapidly spreading to several other states, and Abuja, Nigeria’s federal capital. In fact, a 2017 survey by Nigeria’s statistics bureau showed police officers were the most likely of all civil servants to solicit and collect bribes while the 2016 World Internal Security and Police Index ranked Nigeria’s police force ranks as the worst of the 127 countries in the report. Today Our mothers came out in their hundreds to lend their voices to the SARS menace - "Stop killing our children" they sang and echoed in unison💔💔💔💔 It was heartbreaking to watch because I just imagine my mom being there 😭 See our amazing Mothers that are suppose to relasssing taking to the streets too❤️❤️🙏🏾🙏🏾 It goes to show how tired we are of this nonsense! #EnoughIsEnough #endsarsnow #endsarsbrutality #endpoliceviolence #endpoliceharassment #EndSARSProtest #EndPoliceBrutality #endsarsbrutalityinnigeria #endsars💔 #abujaprotest #Abuja #lagosprotestsagain #Lagos #Nigeria

There are people who will go out of their way for others. They’ll be there when times are rough, always ready with a listening ear. Don’t forget to check on them too. They may be facing struggles known only to them. Their cup may be empty having poured everything out for others!

#MrCluelessFoodie 😂 Taking time out to feed my cravings, and this time I stopped at Big Square - Garden City Mall, and with a coin flip I ended up ordering the Chicken, bacon and avocado salad, with a Strawberry frappe, and none of them disappointed. The portion (as you can see) was quite adequate in size. Their frappe is second to none. The flavour on the chicken and bacon is so good, that no sauce/dip is required with it. The avocado in there was also really good, sio zile boujee maji maji. Coming to the non-food part, the ambience of Big Square is always great and their service is one of the highlights of the place. The staff is well versed with the menu and is cordial in nature. In the end, all I can say is that Big Square should always be your " Big Plan" while eating out. Happy eating! Place : Big Square, Garden City Mall, Nairobi Rating : 9/10 🗞️ @MTEMBEZITRIBE

I began my tummy adventure as #MrCluelessFoodie 😂 (Yes I am really clueless) and my love for Swahili dishes took me to Eastleigh, specifically to Fadumahindi Restaurant. Masha'Allah the place was worth the Saturday afternoon hustle-bustle of Eastleigh's first avenue. 🛎 I ordered Chicken Tawa (If you're looking to spoil your taste buds, then with this they will oblige.) and downed with a Passion Colada. The ambience I'll give it a 9/10, though its located in the busy heart of Eastleigh it has a chilled setting, the service 9/10 nothing much to complain about here from the staff, but will need a slight check on the waiting time, the price is really favorable and reasonable, and quantity is satisfactory and does not leave you asking for your money's worth. I also learnt that they have a delivery service that I will definitely explore especially with their burgers 😋. RATING: 8.5/10 I feel that a restaurant could call itself successful when it captures the essence of the cuisine, while respecting and maintaining the authenticity of the food. Fadumahindi Restaurant is one such restaurant that lives up to this. Much recommended and Awesome place to visit with family or friends. 📍 Fadumahindi Restaurant, Eastleigh, Fourth Street 🗺 @MtembeziTribe for your travel guide. #MtembeziTribe #JoinTheTribe

Héjio nì makū 😂

That awkward moment when you're wearing Nike's and you can't do it. 😂 Anyway, It's really interesting to see where life takes us. The idols we follow and the people we respect are extremely vulnerable to criticism. Everybody goes through stuff and it's hard to judge anyone and their decisions. Give support and assure people you're there for them, do not feed the flame. Be a pillar of hope, stop spreading hate. ❤️
