This Japanese-owned shaved ice dessert cafe and gallery opening in December 2023. Head over to their IG @artice_sg for the opening date. Currently, they are only offering shaved ice desserts on their menu. The desserts are quite light and you can finish the bowl by yourself as it isn’t very big. I love the natural fruit flavours like the Dragonfruit. However, the prices here are steep for a bowl of shaved ice. The texture of the shaved ice here is quite different from bingsu. It offers classical brasserie dishes with Nordic and French influences. @brasserieastoria.sg We tried their Plat du Jour which is the daily 3-course lunch menu. This special menu is updated weekly. Food overall was good with some hits and misses. The escargot was delicious. The meat balls, on the other hand, were too salty. But the rest of the dishes were palatable.
