2023 show number 26: Weekends with Adele • Friday October 13 • Week 31 ✨ So it seems giving (Funko) pops is now my love language... where do I begin?!?! Wanted to make this post at the end of the trip since I haven’t had time to sit and properly formulate words. As I sit on the planes heading back to reality, these few days feel absolutely surreal. It’s been a tightly packed couple of days, so I’m running on adrenaline + major lack of sleep. The purpose of this trip revolved around seeing Adele, which happens to be exactly 7 years since I saw her. Spent two years miserably waitlisted, but somehow copped two tickets 6 months ago when she announced the second half of the residency. Got a specific seat I wanted but that was the beginning. I was beyond ecstatic but wanted to keep it realistic since there were still multitude of factors that could affect this moment. Adele could’ve cancelled, the pandemic, I could’ve got covid again, etc. It felt like waiting for the other shoe to drop. People would constantly ask if I was excited, how planning was, etc and it was always the same - I haven’t done nor felt anything (yet). This moment made my entire trip worth it. All the patience along with the stress paid off. Firstly, the show was beyond incredible. Absolutely magical. Intimate. I’ve been saying this since 2016, and still to this day, Adele is hands down the best concert I’ve ever attended. The show encompasses everything - the humour, the humanity, the emotions, THE VOCALS. It’s simply not another 2hr “performance” you watch, it’s a moment you’re absolutely engaged into and will remember. My ‘hobby’ has peaked. Adele was the top of the top of my list I’ve always wanted to meet; and now I can finally cross that off my bucket list. I can’t even believe I’m saying that. Her reaction was priceless, I didn’t expect her to be that shocked when she saw it. I have two customs of her - one is the send my love look and the other is the classic black dress worn for Adele Live 2016. I decided to give her the send my love one since this dress was hand painted 1/1 custom and the details were 🤌🏼 If anyone was at the show or has seen photos/vids online - pls direct to me🪐

Honoured and blessed to have celebrated her champagne birthday tonight in the six with her. 😘🍾 // My smile is beamin', my skin is gleamin' The way it shine, I know you've seen it // Every song just spoke so LOUD.. 🥴🤭 Even with my sprained ankle, I had the time of my life running around the pit (truly miss the “not jam packed” mosh pit from those artrave days). Let’s see just how much my body and throat will hate me before leaving for Seattle now.. 🤦🏻‍♀️☠️
