I learned to love a body I was taught to hate... It’s hard for me to talk to others about my insecurities regarding my body, because others just see me as “perfect already”, “small enough”, “need more meat”... etc.. 🙄 People don’t see what I see... people don’t feel what I feel. And that statement goes for everyone. We don’t know what ANYONES struggles are internally, emotionally, mentally, & physically. 🤎 We like to just judge someone based on what we can see... not what we can hear, feel or even begin to understand. And that’s the problem❗️❗️ I have my days where I wish I had bigger boobs... a bigger butt... clear skin, or just thicker in general...etc Then I have my days where I’m happy with my waist, my small boobs, pigmentation, small butt and etc... Social media is a dangerous place. I will admit I have days where I compare myself to others, or just wonder what it’s like to be them. The one thing I fail to realize & I think we all do is... EVERYONE has insecurities, struggles, challenges, etc. NO-ONE is 100% happy all the time, or 100% happy with themselves everyday - all day. We think that our bodies have to be 100% perfect but... in reality the closest we will ever get to anything like that is 99.9% . Look at the labels in your house... If everything could kill germs 100% it would instead of just 99.9% like it says on every label. 99% of the time I’m wondering and trying to find ways to better my body, when I should be focusing on that 1% to better my mind, my inner peace and my understanding. If your mind isn’t right then nothing else will be. So if you read this far then, the point of this long post, is to take it one day at a time. Instead of focusing on all 99% all the time focus 1% at a time to better your mind, your peace, your health and happiness. As I finish writing this post, I want to say that I’m happy... and I’m sad.. and that’s okay. It’s normal, we have to feel these things to understand why we’re feeling them. I am loving my body more each and every day & I hope you do the same. Take it easy on your body, be gentle. Tell yourself something good about your body everyday in the mirror! 🤎🦋

Yes I WAS seeing a counselor for PTSD, from him & what he would say and do. Yes I WAS willing to give my daughter up for adoption for my own reasons that I thought was right. But... NOW I’m soon to be officially divorced. NOW I am still seeing a counselor for PTSD. NOW I’ve found myself & I’m still growing. NOW I’ve experienced new things. NOW I know my worth. NOW I am at peace. NOW I am a sexual assault survivor NOW I am more understanding. NOW I know what I want and need. NOW I know what I deserve. NOW I am confident. NOW I am holding myself accountable. NOW I am not afraid to tell my story. So yes my life WAS hell but I had to get through the rain 🌧 to get to the rainbow. 🌈 I’m happy that everything happened the way it did, because now I understand, now I realize and I was able to experience a different kind of perspective that I wouldn’t have been able to see if I did not go through these traumatic events. I did not see what I know now. But now I know what I saw then. 👀 This is my story. This was only a chapter. I’ve still got many more pages to go. 📚 I’m ready to experience new things. Some days it just hits me harder than others. Some days I just get into my own head, my own thoughts, and my own feelings. And yes it sucks, but for some reason I feel that it’s probably the only way that I’ve been able to stay sane for so long. And then there are the”Other days” that I’m fine and everything is great. I cherish those days, but still think about the “Not so great” days. You would think that the days that are great would count more than the days that are “Not so great.” But for me it’s the other way around. And this is something that I work on every day with myself to better myself not only for myself, but for my child, my family and friends. It takes a lot of strength, it takes a lot of emotion because a lot of the time when I do go through my “Not so great days” I try to forget about it, or they simply just try to hurry up and create happy memories to compensate for it. It’s so easy to get in my own head, when I have so much going on, physically, emotionally, mentally and spiritually. There are days where I know who’s there for me, and who I am, and then there are days where I don’t know anything at all. And it scares the heck out of me . But in all reality I have to go through every feeling that I’m feeling on my “Not so great days”, I have to feel that pain, I have to feel that isolation, I have to feel that need and that want. Everyday I struggle with my body. Everyday there seems to be something else wrong with it. In someone else’s eyes, and in my own.
