Two little cuties that take so much space in my heart. To this day I still can’t believe that anyone would abandon these two lovely girls. They came to us as these rescue dogs who were once on a death row because their previous owner thought they were old and just gave up on them. They were perfect, they have always been perfect and they always will be to us. This year wasn’t easy for many people including us and these two brought a new purpose in my life, a new drive and determination I didn’t know I had before to become a better Mama for them and to become a better person for myself and my loved ones. Hello. It’s been awhile. Thank you to those who are still around, those who say hi and check in on me regularly. Some of you asked why I stopped posting. I don’t have a solid answer to that question. I just knew I had to take a break. Adulting is hard and I wasn’t prepared. At one point, things were overwhelming and I didn’t have the energy to deal with them all at once. I chose myself, my happiness, and my family: my cornerstone and my safe place where I feel secure. That was all I needed to push through. Nothing changed. I still travel like there’s no tomorrow.
