Boost your recovery!!!! There is no doubt that training is good for our health and can help us get fitter and stronger but, training itself is a stress to the body, especially if we're pushing hard, exceeding our bodies capacity. It's is the time between training and rest that allows our body to adapt and compensate for that stress. Proper recovery is how we actually reap the benefits of all that hard work. As a coach, I'm constantly hearing about the lack of sleep, the crazy amount of high intensity workouts, the poor diet choices and other work/life stressors that client experience. That is exactly why I try to empower people with tools to not only train hard but recover better. Think of it this way, every training session is a withdrawal from your "body bank account". The harder the training session, the bigger the withdrawal. Rest and recovery is when you make deposit back to that account. Where is your bank account balance at right now??? Are you in debt??? Hopefully you haven't reached bankruptcy!!! Week 3 for me is all about improving on forms , strength is definitely improving so is my recovery 🙂. #coach #trainwithme
