And four years in Canada flew by just like that. Gonna miss you Canada, especially your fricken delicious ketchup chips 🙄 // I’m really thankful to be able to have two places to call home, Canada and Croatia. I’m thankful for all the friendships I gained these past 4 years, for an education, for job opportunities, for getting time to spend with my grandparents etc... I’m gonna miss getting timmies in the morning, or getting snowed in during the winter. Imma miss working every weekend at the club filming and doing what I love. There are so many little things I’m gonna miss... It’s sad to leave knowing that I won’t be coming back in the Fall, but Vancouver will always be my second home 🏡 See you soon Croatia 🤍

CONVOS WITH JOSH// . Sooo I just created my very first podcast! On social media, all we see are pictures and videos, we all have our own unique story to tell. Speaking for myself, I know that behind every picture I post, there is a story of how it came to be. With this podcast, I wanted to share those stories with you, giving you a greater context to the stuff I post about. I wanted to have a platform where I can tell my story and share with you guys different topics ranging from travelling, videography, working with artists, starting a business and more... In this first podcast, I talk about my life story. From what it was like moving to Croatia, all the troubles I had with the language, how I got into videography, starting my YouTube channel etc. If you’re bored at home and want something to listen to, make sure to check it out! I am currently working on creating more episodes where I will shine a light on the business side of videography as well as how I get to travel for free. I would love to hear what you think in the comments 🖤
A throwback to Coachella 19 🌵
Sooo I just graduated? Feels weird saying that because I don’t feel like I finished at all. Everything ended so abruptly that my mind is still spinning. Although I didn’t get to enjoy my last month of school (yes I said enjoyed cause I actually miss it 🙄), I am so thankful for being able to spend four years studying something I truly love. One thing that being an Industrial Designer has taught me is that anything is possible. Anything that you have in your mind can be turned into a cool, functional, tangible object. I think that’s crazy 💡. . Since school’s done and I haven’t really posted much about me studying Industrial Design, I thought I’d make a post about my grad project that I’ve been working on for the last 6-7 months. . Kønstrukt is a project that has the goal of slowing down fashion. In design school we are taught to question everything we create and put into the world. Does the world really need what we’re creating. Will we benefit from it or will it just damage our world even more. Tackling the issue of fast fashion (second largest polluter) is HUGE and nearly impossible, but there are little things that we can do to slow it down. With my grad project I wanted to inspire creativity and connection between the user and their clothing by having them be part of the making process. I wanted them to build a connection almost like the connection we have with certain comfort objects. I also wanted to make the clothing modular for two reasons: First being that it could be easier to take apart and repair, and second so you could easily customize the clothing (instead of buying new clothes). One issue with sewing is its hard to remove seams and takes a long time and not everyone knows how to sew. Therefore, I used eyelets and paracord to create a new way to combine/and or remove two pieces of fabrics, enabling pieces of fabric to be easily removed and replaced. . Although I still didn’t finish this project 100% how I imagined it, I am still super proud of it knowing how much time, thought, research, meetings, critiques I went through. I will definitely continue to work on this and you might see it pop up in the near future (IUTD!?!) 😏🖤
