🔥Misery🔥 Misery is a song about depression. We believe that this is a topic that should be talked about more openly. When you're depressed, it’s easy to feel alone. It might feel like no one understands what you’re going through. You might not even fully understand it yourself. Reaching out can be scary, but there’s no need to suffer through depression on your own. Misery starts off as one of the most mellow songs of the album. With that we wanted to capture the feeling of despair, hopelessness and hollowness. Halfway through the song shows it’s more aggressive side. Signifying a battle against depression. To end on a lighter note: Jurgen wrote the intro melody after watching Netflix’ Dark. Therefore the working title for this song was also ‘Dark’.
