While curating creative content in general, I've normally been asked how I'm so comfortable being in front of a camera. But to be honest, there was a time back in 2013, when I wasn't even comfortable taking any close-up shots. Like most teenagers, in the ninth grade, I suddenly started to get my first few acne spots on my face. Something as normal as acne, used to turn into a nightmare for me in high school. I used to get bullied for having even the slightest amount of acne, and a classmate of mine would even name the spots on my face caused by them (and let's just say, the terms weren't very nice🥴). That was the year, I truly grew as a person and learned how to face my nightmares and turn them into my strength💖🙏🏻 I was grateful to have enough support from my parents, a handful of supportive friends and faith in myself that helped me shape myself into a really self-confident, self-aware and a mentally strong person. Years since that day, I am now beyond comfortable with taking pictures, videos, making creative content and love love love being in front of the camera. I even ended up becoming so passionate about taking care of my skin and truly never find myself getting conscious or affected by acne ever since.
