Today I'm working on some new content about Guatemala, and dreaming of being back in the beautiful country. This is Catedral Del Espiritu Santo in Xela
Sri Lanka, you beaut.
Find the right spot in Hanoi and they know how to do tea the right way @bettys1919 @yorkshiretea
Not sure if I've mentioned it before, but we freaking LOVE Hanoi!
Although we're from the UK, we spend most of our time in Hanoi, Vietnam, where I teach English. With close to two years of teaching in Hanoi, I've put together a guide for anyone that's thinking about moving to Vietnam's beautiful capital! Link in bio :)
I've spent the last 5 months searching the streets of Hanoi to find vegan and veggie friendly alternatives to the meat heavy staples of Vietnam. There's still more I want to find before sharing our favourites with you all in a blog post, but I did want to share this. Fully vegan bun cha. If you've been to Hanoi, you'll know bun cha is the street food of choice, and loads of travellers want to give it a try. Finally, I've found a vegan option, so those following a vegan/veggie diet can get in on the action, too. I've managed to find a few, but this one right here is, as far as I know, the very best in the city! If you know of a vegan bun cha that you rate, please let me know! I'd love to compare!
Drink tea, be happy. #cafelife
It's been a little while since our last post, sorry about that. Graham is currently in India, and I'm just back from a 2 day trip to Bangkok. It was the first time in about 3 years since I travelled solo, and it was really awesome. From wandering around markets, to a late night swim in my hotels rooftop pool, it was an amazing 2 days.
Rare picture of our Graham, one half of the UG team, looking lovely at Hue's Citadel.
We always feel so grateful to live in such a beautiful country. This is lake Hoa Binh, a gorgeous and peaceful area. We explored the area on a motorbike and enjoyed the quiet away from the city
Please excuse the language, but this sign on the beach in Tulum sums up what beach life in Mexico is all about: relaxing and eating tacos. It also helps that they happen to be about the most affordable place to grab a beer and a snack on the beach here. If you're visiting Tulum, be sure to hit up La Eufemia for a bite on the beach!
We're back in 'Nam after our first Christmas in England for a few years. As a bit of a tribute to rainy ol' England, here's a (not particularly great) snap of our rather wet boat trip around the mangroves at Rio Dolce, Guatemala.
