I’ve been thinking about if I’ll post about it or not, but I decided I will, since it’s a “big” change in my life right now. not that it matters for anyone else - but I always share what’s going on in my life. The last couple weeks I had an identity crises, realizing I made this whole veganism topic my identity - then realizing: I don’t want to be vegan anymore. Around 3.5 years ago I’ve decided to change my nutrition to vegan. it all started after watching “what the health” on Netflix. Before I went vegan (overnight) my nutrition was paleo - the complete opposite. I felt amazing going vegan. But I’ve always told myself: if I ever wanna go back, obviously I will. I’ve never thought that such a simple “it’s just what you eat” decision could confuse me so much. but I’ve started eating animal products last week again. And I couldn’t be happier to be honest. The reason I’ve stopped being vegan is my health. I ignored some issues in my health and never wanted to connect them to my beloved vegan nutrition. I’ve never struggled with thyroid issues, but around 6-12 months after I’ve started eating vegan I’ve been diagnosed with thyroid issues - could be coincidence, for sure. But it’s interesting talking to others about it and lots of them tell me about same issues. there was a time where, no matter what I was eating, I ended up in pain. And no doctor seemed to be able to find out what it was. I’m not saying that veganism doesn’t work for anyone, but I’ve figured for myself; it doesn’t work for me anymore. And that’s okay! When I was vegan I would always think about food, I’d eat and eat but never really felt full. I mean, I loved it don’t get me wrong, I didn’t gain weight and could eat whatever. But now that I introduced eggs + meat back into my nutrition I just feel like my whole day doesn’t just involve food. Which I love. There will always be studies PRO and studies CON veganism (And anything really!) I think the best study someone can do is: listen to your body. Follow your intuition. See how you feel. You can change your mind EVERY SINGLE DAY. No need to stick to something if you feel like it’s not ideal for you. Lots of love xx

The air you breathe, the water you drink, the food you eat. What you put in - you will get out. It’s up to you, do you want to feel energized or tired? 𝙑acation.
